There is just something about the XFL that makes it more enjoyable for me to watch over the NFL. Maybe it’s not really being tied to a team or some of the differences between the two leagues like the rules or the production That networks put on.. I guess it was fun watching it from day one and also it was a lot easier to learn and identify with each team when there are only eight versus 32.
I don't like it more than the NFL but I definitely liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It was a pro league but felt like between pro and college, and the TV presentation was top notch. It really was obvious how much more serious the XFL presented itself and was taken by the sports world this time. And I think it really proved there is a place for a tweener league like this.
Plus since I like the CFL it was set up that I almost would have football year round. College/NFL goes into the XFL and the XFL would end in the end of April, and then it would just be about 2 months before the CFL started, which leads right back into the NFL/College.
