$500 is too steep for me to throw down. Unlike last gen, I'm going to wait until the upgraded model is released in a couple of years.

The more I watch and read about Titanfall, the more I like it. Normally that genre isn't my favorite, but this game just looks fun.

I'm just bummed that it's multiplayer only. I was really hoping it would have a single player story mode as well. I hate it when games do this. Makes me feel like I'm paying full price for half a game.

On a side note, been confirmed today that Titanfall is NOT coming to PS4. It will remain exclusive to the 360, Xbox One, and PC (However that doesn't mean that future sequels won't be on PS4 ala Mass Effect).

How many of y'all are getting the One? I've had a 360 for 7 years. My lean is to the One because of the fact that I have already been with Xbox for so long and my gamertag, and I think most of my friends are going with the One. However, a lot of reviews are saying the PS4 is a lot better with CPU/GPU and can output more for graphics and such.

PS4 will be my main machine, but I am getting an Xbox One as well for exclusives, and it will be replacing 3 boxes in my living room.

Most everyone i play with is switching from MS to Sony, which made my decision for me. I was leaning that way anyhow

PS4 all the way.

I might consider an XBone down the road when it drops in price. I'm just not paying 100.00 more for a less powerful machine just because it's retro fitted with the gaming equivalent of "The Clapper" (Kinect).

Yea I don't know what was up with that. I tried pre-ordering 3 times and it never would let me. Did the 1-click and it worked fine.

Will be at my house Monday. Enough for me to hear all the bugs and gripes before I get it.

The lack of surround for passed through content is just mind numbing. I know they are suppose to patch it next year, but that makes it useless to me as the promsied all in one media device.

It just came out today in reviews that X1 doesn't support surround sound for devices connected via HDMI in. I agree it seems head scratching.

I did hear that their is a beta version to fix this, but it is not working yet.

So looks like there is a true beta option. One reviewer tried it, and said it did diminished sound quality some (I guess why it is a beta).

So this means when you plug in your cable box through the hdmi whatever surround you have will not be emitted?
