Are you implying Glacier wasn't a smashing success?Alberto DelRio finally showed up in the ring last night against Mysterio.
no ring presence, no talent, a silly bio, a goofy entrance and his own ring announcer.
he'll last about as long as Mordecai. I don't know of any wrestler that had an extended introduction that became a success.
The Million Dollar Man Ted DibiaseThe thing about the steroids was I was always afraid of them and I finally had a doctor tell me about the effects and that warned me right off them — that was it for me with that stuff. The only other drug I took for a while was cocaine. Now this doesn't sound like the Million Dollar Man, but I stopped doing that because I was cheap — I didn't want to spend the money on it!"
So how does a non rasslin fan know the name Marty Jannety, much less know what he looks like?
Now that I think about it, the last time I watched it was a PPV event back in '03, maybe '04...my friend was really into it and he watched it all the time. It was The Royal Rumble and it WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!!
I actually think WWE was watchable back then...especially compared to now.
2003 was the last really strong year for Wrestlemania.
Michaels v. Jericho
Hogan v. McMahon
Triple H v. Booker T
Austin v. Rock
Angle v. Lesnar
It's amazing how far the roster's declined in recent years.
