Then there are the Nasty Boys, who pretty much didn't last long. They quickly got in Hogan's doghouse.

I've seen people suggest that Hogan is a plant by Vince to destroy TNA before it can get off the ground, so he doesn't have to go through what he did with WCW again. If that notion weren't so ridiculous, I'd believe its true.

Speaking of which, a pretty true quote from JR that just came out on that subject:

Jim Ross: General Manager? JR makes it clear he's not interested in being a regular General Manager, noting that the gimmick has run its course and it's not worth the travel required. "I am not interested in traveling to Raw each week and becoming a character," Ross said. "The GM role feels tired to me and I don't want to attempt to resurrect a broken down horse. I personally think that, by and large, the GM biz/role has started to run its course. I'm talking full time or Guest General Managers, especially guest GM's who have not the first clue about the product and engage others in lame skits featuring poor acting."

I will say this tho. I think if they had more actual wrestlers as guest GMs, it would be better.

Thats why I'm kinda interested to see what they're gonna do with Otunga tonight as guest host.

If I remember correctly, wasn't it really Nash & Hall, and the creation of the nWo, that helped put WCW over? Hogan had been there a while, and they didn't really start winning til he joined the nWo.

Exactly. If Hall and Nash never leave, Vince never has to deal with WCW.

Unfortunately, Hogan takes a lot of credit for WCW's success in the 90's. BAR NONE.

Don't forget it was Bischoff also who would either tell or direct the announce team to reveal the results of the taped RAW telecasts. That led to the WWF to go live each and every Monday Night and come up with a formula that was considered as shocking and a breakthrough (DX). That ended up having a good thing, bad thing result.

They can't just let Hall and Nash do their thing. Gotta bog them down with no-talent tagalongs like Sean and Bubba. It's maddening.

I've known Kevin for going on 20 years. He likes having Waltman around. So does Hall. He's like their mascot.

Just another in a long line of dumb moves. That was a PPV quality match that should've been the main event. Mr. Anderson is the only guy in TNA that can get me to change the channels.

Well...besides Hogan. But Hogan gets me to change the channel back to WWE.

Speaking of WWE, Otunga has the makings of a good heel.
