Going against the NCAA Basketball Championship and Dancing With The Stars, The 8-10 Impact! show did a .9. RAW did a 3.2 against heavy competition from 9-11.

Head to Head

RAW:3.0
Impact!: .82

Yeah, Angle pulls off some sick moonsaults. It sucks they're in TNA, because Anderson and Angle are two of my favorite going right now.

Moving to 8 is a smart move by them, for once. It almost negates the dumb idea of moving to Mondays to being with. Almost.

James Storm just went all Eddie Gilbert on Jeff Hardy and threw a fireball in his face. Beer Money, Inc. is the best thing going in wrestling today.

I love Beer Money. I watched a few minutes of the Roode match and then the last 5 minutes of the show, and it was better than anything I've seen on Raw lately. I haven't really been watching either show though.

Apparently, because of the volcano, the Smackdown crew is gonna be doing RAW tonight. Hopefully that means the Smackdown bookers will be doing the show too. This could be awesome.

Jericho will benefit from this.

The major surprise was.........................TOMMY DREAMER

PSYCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samoa Joe, that sure is A BIG SURPRISE.

RVD..................NEW WORLD CHAMPION............talk about highly too premature.

They should have gave it to Jeff Hardy while they were at it.

The only way the ECWization of TNA is going to work is if they get Heyman to come in and run the show. Hogan and Jerkoff haven't the foggiest idea how to handle those guys. It was encouraging to see Scott Hall put through a table last night.

I read Heyman reportedly turned down TNA's offer; he has ripped on the use of RVD. However, the last time I checked they are still going after him.

Maybe putting the belt on RVD is an attempt to lure Heyman in. Heyman would be better than Russo, Hogan and Bischoff combined. However, the 4 of them together (or 3 if Russo is gone) would prolly be a cluster-youknowwhat.

And I'm not sure that he's even worth putting the belt on RVD and his sweat stains. That was just a bad move. Let us hope that somebody does indeed take it off him quickly. I think even Anderson would be a better choice, but we've prolly had enough of Angle/Anderson (and Angle/Styles) for a while. And I guess they wanted to get the belt on a babyface asap.

RAW had some good matches as I figured it would with the Smackdown crew, but the whole MacGruber thing was too much. It was like Smackdown wrestling (the good) mixed with RAW writing (the bad), and it just didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

I don't think RVD having the belt is terrible, but I would have much rather have had Styles drop it to Dinero.

It's not an awful time to put the strap on RVD for a quick run. Hell, Swagger's a world champ in WWE right now. It was unpredictable, and makes for a nice, brief change of pace in TNA.

As Hatty pointed out, Angle's coming back to grab the gold....and there's not a man on that roster who's better-suited to carry the company.
