Going back to the discussion on whether Taker will lose his streak or not, and who should he lose it to...

A few of us (me being one of them) said that the end of the streak should be used on an up-and-coming star. But Lance Storm brought up a good point in his Q&A:

Q: The Michaels vs Taker match will again be the highlight of this years WrestleMania, but I just cant see Shawn losing again! Do you think the streak will be ended and if so why Shawn and not an up and coming star?

A: If it is Shawn I’m okay with that. I think the problem is that too many up and coming stars don’t pan out long term, and giving up the streak to a young guy who then quits or leaving the company like a Lesnar or Lashley, as an example, would be such a waste of the streak.

I think that's pretty fair. You never really know when a guy is gonna retire, get lured to MMA/TNA, get busted for substance, or whatever. Its a risk, especially against a guy who has been reliable for the company like Taker.

So that being said, I take back what I said. I think Taker's streak should go on until he retires.

Edit: I may be in the minority here, but I think Mr. Anderson is one of the best things going for TNA right now.

On the Monday before WM, RAW did a 3.24 to Impact! .9. Impact! saw a slight increase, especially in the 18-49 age group. The bottom line is they did not break the 1.0 barrier.

Honestly, I think putting the Hogan announcement in the middle was a big mistake because RAW had a good beginning, middle and end. The six-man tag should have been in the middle then in the end. Not even the Wolfpac was in attendance, only in highlight form.

That was a decent Wrestlemania.

I wish Punk and Mysterio had gotten more time. Punk's G.I.Joe homage was awesome. Hopefully these guys will have more matches in the future, and longer ones.

Money in the Bank was sick. Very entertaining. I'm so surprised that Swagger won.

Bret and Vince carried on too long. They either should've ended it quickly, or gave it more drama and storytelling during the course of the match.

Jericho/Edge was very good, just as I thought it would be. Second best match of the night. I look forward to seeing more from these two. Lots of potential there. The spear off the announce table made me cringe. Lots of cheers for Jericho, much like Orton before him. Some boos for Edge. Maybe a double turn for these two? Jericho just works too well as a heel, but Edge works better as a heel too. I would also like to see Christian in the mix with them as well.

Taker/HBK was obviously the best match of the night. It didn't disappoint me. These guys really know how to put it on. They both deserve a lot of time off.

Yep. Its amazing how much he's changed in the past 10 years.

Two images I never thought I'd see:

btw the girl to the far right is one of Bret's daughters.

And I'm not a John Cena fan by a longshot, but that was pretty funny when Cena posed with his haters last night.

The most predictable match of the night, Cena over Batista. Surprised Jericho beat the face Edge, but they're not over with. Swagger was one of the three guys I thought would win MITTB.
