Wow, our FB program just got trashed by Ohio news article

Read it and didn't really see where Tennessee was ''trashed''. It was pretty much spot on, there isn't much for the program to hang it's hat on the last couple of decades.
The
“Pinto” reference is about as strongly worded a condemnation of a program that you can get.

What a piece of junk write up, let’s start dissecting their coaching history, first up, Woody Hayes

If an OSU writer has to kick rocks at UT to make him feel better about the Buckeyes, then good for him. It's an admission that OSU cannot go toe-to-toe with the top SEC teams. Of course, we already knew that, so...

Go Vols.
What I was thinking. If Ohio State is so magnificent then why would you feel you would have to write an article like that? I sense inadequate penis size there.

The real story is this. Washington will never end up being DC or HC at tOSU. He gave all his power away by turning down more money and a better title. He is going to accept whatever little pittance that they give him, and they will always know that they can string him along and he will stay put and be a good little soldier.

Maybe one day he will realize this, and he will end up having to leave and go elsewhere to further his coaching career.

Your screen name.

I like it.

Played in a band by the same name in my youth.

What a lot of you don't realize that's how most people outside the program thinks. We have been bad and getting worse for 20 years. We have hired 5 coaches in a row that should not have been considered to be here. Unless this last hire grows into something great the trend will continue. The truth hurts

They got beat by Bama as bad as we did.

Missing 2 starting DTs, losing their best RB on the first play and a less than 100% Justin Fields. Let’s not try and even pretend like we are even close to OSUs second string. iSH would have curb stomped us as bad as Bama did.

I think you’re missing the point. They aren’t as good as they think they are and we aren’t as bad as they think we are.

Well, one thing in the column I agree with: "hiring coaches is a ridiculous crap shoot."

Truer words were never spoken.

Columbus and Knoxville are eerily similar when it comes to their football teams. The loyalty is phenomenal and the horseshoe is magical on game day. For all the chest thumpers out there knocking the team that has almost single handedly kept the Big 10 relevant in football, deep down inside you wish our Vols were that relevant. I’ll take being a top 5 program in the nation any day over where we’re at right now.
As for 11 Warriors: it’s a fan site that plays to their fan base just like a couple of Vols sites I know and love. Play to your fan base and give them what they want. Sound familiar?
Go Vols!
