How many 3*s did missouri have last game?
I like to see the comparison of schedules and how dominant those teams actually were that saban never lost by more than one possesion
Are you claiming that saban faced 4 top 10 teams?
(Or teams that were in top 10 at some point that season)
Right. With this hopefully top 20 recruiting class coming in (and if we're lucky not in the bottom half of the conference) this staff is gonna start kicking ass in a couple of years. Just gotta get CJP's 3*'s in here and get rid of the 3and up *'s left behind!!
Patience grasshopper. These coaches know what they're doing. If you can't see improvement in that 50-17 loss to Mizzoo compared to the 40-14 beatdown by WVU, you're just a CJP hater that knows nothing about football and should go pull for another team.
My version of nut hugging. Was it convincing?
Pruitt took over a horrific program. One that will see Charlotte with as many or more draft picks. One that was in the dumpster since Lane ran off 45 kids. One that was 0-8 last year. He should finish 6-6 and 3-5 with this horrific talent. This Defensive line plays about every snap because there is no one else. The great Tennessee dlines rotated about 8 guys. He didn't break this thing but he will fix it. It will not be fixed in one or two years by anyone. It takes time to get the right kids in here and develop them. Saban inherited a better deal and was 6-6 his first year. Smart inherited a better deal then both of them and was 7-5. And neither played a top ten out of conference opponent. Things are seriously looking up but it takes time. Show some patience and less ignorance.
If you’re talking Vol fans to be patient you honestly deserve a solid smack in the face. That is ridiculous. Vol fans have been plenty patient and then some. B
Honestly guys, I think this all comes down to Pruitt and his staff's ability to remotely coach the insanely talented roster we have. That may seem like a duh thing but look at this --
Even during the Lyle era from 2015 to 2018 our classes, nationally, were #4, #14, and #22 in 2018 when Pruitt had 3 months to put together an entire class.
WVU's ranks from 2015 to 2018 were #35, #39 and #35. There is no reason we lose to WVU on talent, it all comes down to tapping into the potential that Pruitt is KNOWN for doing. Lets go boys 9/1 is OUR day.
Uhhhh Im sorry but even though Pruitt took over the worst roster in Tennessee history & Helton is working with an offensive line that is smaller than most JV high school teams we should be undefeated. I played pee-wee football so I know everything about football ever and Pruitt should hire me.
I think you made this exact post in Butch's first year, just changed the names. If you didn't about 10,000 others did!I am excited for the future with CJP...
This team shows signs of improving but we do hot have the horses to compete every week in the SEC...
CJP and staff have my support and I will see where they take us...
Our roster is much worse than most expected..Including myself..
I think he has done a good job considering what he has to work with..
I will continue to support my VOLS and hope next year brings more sunshine...

when ur offense goes three and out, u turn the ball over to give them a short field (or turnover for td) any offense will wear any defense down. Our defense kept Missouri in check until the turnovers. Most people just look at the final score in a vacuum and just think our D sucked, no our offense sucked.I'll relax when a Pruitt coached defense looks prepared against a Derek Dooley coordinated offense...
Please stop it with the rings thing. Coordinators can’t claim natty rings with any shred of seriousness.
