We have no choice unfortunately. Both lines need major overhauls and even more depth. That will take time to fix.

Did you miss my point that the scheme Pruitt runs, which is very similar to Alabama’s, requires him having better athletes than the other team. Missouri runs a scheme focused more on misdirection and mismatches, like what Butch ran, something you have to do if you don’t have elite talent. There are pros and cons to different schemes. We saw Butch almost beat Bama in 2015 with a clear talent disadvantage. But end of the day what wins the most games is having better athletes than the other team. Missouri’s 3* didn’t look very good against Bama or UGA.

He lost by 7 to LSU who won the national championship that year. Lost by 3 in OT to UGA who would end the season ranked 2nd. Beat the dog piss out of us, this was the last year we went to the SEC tournament and ended the season ranked 12th. He beat Arkansas during McFadden’s junior year. Lost by 7 to Auburn who ended the season ranked 14th.

We made one bowl appearance with Dooley & 3 bowl games with Butch.
That is not a program in a dumpster
Yes, on 10 years, we have only had 5 above average seasons and 5 horrible seasons
2009 & 2010, 2014, 2015 & 2016 we made bowl games
2011, 2012, 2013, 2017 losing seasons
2018 ??????

WVU's ranks from 2015 to 2018 were #35, #39 and #35. There is no reason we lose to WVU on talent, it all comes down to tapping into the potential that Pruitt is KNOWN for doing. Lets go boys 9/1 is OUR day.

Might as well relax. Next year want be much better. If you dont have a solid qb you cant win. With nothing in the qb bucket could be several more lean years.

when ur offense goes three and out, u turn the ball over to give them a short field (or turnover for td) any offense will wear any defense down. Our defense kept Missouri in check until the turnovers. Most people just look at the final score in a vacuum and just think our D sucked, no our offense sucked.

You're right...most head coaches probably call a lot less of the actual plays, in real time, then their coordinators. Maybe they shouldn't wear the rings. And, most coordinators didn't actually run, hit, tackle or catch. Maybe the coaches shouldnt wear rings at all.
