It’s the same reason RD was on the fever’s roster. They kept getting injury/short term waivered into the league to fill rosters but never got the chance to stay even when they did good.

Nared had a full season to prove herself with LV and never distinguished herself to earn more minutes. Cierra bounced around a bit, but she was always a bit of a tweener with no true position in the WNBA.

Davis' injury basically ate up her "first round draft free ride" year. She got waived by Minny and didn't make the most of her minutes with Indiana to move up the pecking order.

Thank you. I was just trying to understand if they were treated any different for other players trying to make the cut. Wasn’t sure if the OP was saying they somehow were victims.
