RJ isn’t happy playing for the Sparks anymore because she knows with Plum’s ball dominance play she’s not going to be able to reach her potential and imo trading for Plum wasn’t a good idea

Aja is incredible and had a big night against the hapless sparks. But IMO Phee has been better so far this year.

Not sure but I don’t think that’s it.

They have a game tomorrow then not another til next Friday. Hopefully we’ll see her then.

That’s why I think it’s personal and not professional.

Also just in general, I’m sure head injuries are pretty hard to come back from. She was very tentative in her brief mins back on the court.

You don't know that she called Caitlin anything unless you think you're a perfect lip reader, and/or you can read Griner's mind to know who she was talking about. Others have reported she said, "f***ng wack call", given that this moment came right after she fouled out. Why would Griner say this about CC? Griner has been nothing but welcoming to CC in the league.

Am I the only one with any sense? I assume you're saying the video itself was somehow manipulated? I kinda doubt it.

It's such a reach to believe the same person that coldcocked a TX Tech player while at Baylor used such inflammatory language. God forbid.🙄

You've already been told what she actually said, and you've been told that the context of the video had to do with Natasha Howard fouling her out. Are you suggesting that's not the case? The other grifters online trying to create controvery off of this clip are claiming she's facing a $150,000 fine by the WNBA, are you saying that's true? If the league were taking such action, it would be reported by legitimate news sources--can you link to any? Has that league ever issued a fine that heavy in its entire existence? Maybe $500 max, if that lol.

If you want to castigate her for past actions, you can do that without adding false allegations.

In the words of this astute you tube vlogger, do your homework before propagating inflammatory culture wars BS. Clark was not involved in the play in which Griner was very upset about picking up her 6th foul when guarding Natasha Howard. The context makes it clear that she said that "F&$# trash, that is a F#%& whack ass call." Griner had no beef with Clark in that moment. This whole thing is very stupid.

Sparks lost another crusher today. Had best half of the season and led Phoenix by 18 in the first half. Then had a nightmare 3rd qtr, blew the lead and lost close down the stretch. Several chances to win but Plum, who had a nightmare shooting day, tried to do too much on her own and couldn’t convert.

This was another game where even an off game for Rickea, 10 pts or so, would have been the difference. They don’t play again til next weekend, have several days of practice. Perfect time for Rickea to come back but Robert’s doesn’t sound like she expects that to happen. If it doesn’t, I’m afraid this is serious and is going to drag on. Also doesn’t sound basketball related.

Well the main internet rumor is put to rest by RJ with an epic troll:

The new rumor is she’s asking for a trade. This wouldn’t surprise me as much as having a baby JPJ. Though both have denied it, fitting in a Robert’s system was always iffy. But I can’t believe the Sparks would give her up so soon. Maybe depends on who they could get for her.

How about LA trading Brink and RJ to Dallas for Arike. I'm sure Paige would gladly accommodate both of them.

The “friend” admitted she made it up. RJ's Twitter fan lady says she's never followed the team on SM so no unfollowing. The post Rickea made debunking the preg rumors was in the Sparks practice gym.

I just need her back on the court soon, esp now that we can see she's healthy and in good spirits. This league waits for no one and there's so many good young players. She's losing ground.
