Good to see Jordy. She was in Seattle yesterday where her Storm ripped the struggling Aces. Lyod had a big first qtr against her old team then went 1-10 the rest of the game. A metaphor for her recent career.

Joke on WNBA Twitter today: who knew Aja Wilson was holding Kelsey Plum back.

I'm sure AR is frustrated but she carries on playing hard, doing what she does. Shot better, on paper, was 5-11. All but one of the 6 misses were layups tho, four of which she, you guessed it, mebounded and put back.

No one can figure out how to play Angel and Kamilla together effectively and the Sky backcourt is awful so far to put it mildly.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Plum can still score so well, even against weak teams. I'm pleasantly unsurprised that Azura is playing so well. Have to keep her healthy. When she scores it lets Hamby just be the garbage collector she's meant to be. Allemade is a huge help in the backcourt but is apparently nicked up yet again. Very injury prone.

Big game for the Sparks tomorrow night against the Dream who's playing really well. They're tired tho, on the back end of a long road trip. Its the kind of game the Sparks can never win, so to do so and get to 3-3 would be a big step for them. Best of all Rickea is listed as probable. SAB has been sturdy, but Rickea scores double digits on a bad day which will really help. She was at the game yesterday very much her old self.

Not sure how much there is too discuss. It is not like the W is trying to hide the fact that Clark has been a big boon to ticket sales and viewership.

The longer term question is how sustainable will this all be. If Clark ascends to being in the GOAT status over the next 5 seasons, then it might be like Jordan or Curry for the NBA. If she levels out as a good player, that might be a problem.

I tried to tell everyone about Kiki, I’m so glad she silenced the haters, I’m starting to have to watch so many teams now for my favorites.

I agree that Kiki I is special. The moment I read she was leaving Stanford I knew their next season was likely to be a bust.

But I gotta say one thing -- not JUST to you. That so many people assign the label "hater" to others who may simply disagree on players' skill levels is silly. People can think Player A is more skilled than Player B without any hatred whatsoever involved in their opinion. Just sayin'.

The thing is Kiki wasn’t a bust, she averaged 18/9 and was still named an AllAmerican. Her numbers were down a bit but she was still effective and one of the best players in the country. I’ve said all season the coach didn’t use her right, and she was a lottery pick in spite of that.

I apparently wasn't clear. I meant that STANFORD's SEASON, without Kiki, would be a bust. And it was.

So happy for Candace, so well deserved.

And boy can we use some good W news for the LVFLs. Dont remember times this grim in a while.

Diamond is waived and w her age and injury history, not likely to come back. Jordan out for the season. Rae is 3 wks into an injury supposed to be 4-6 weeks but still on crutches. Mercedes and Izzy still on rosters tho neither has any impact and could be waived at any point. Though Iizzy is probably safe due to the Liberty trying to keep Tash Cloud, her partner, happy.

Even Rickea is currently a mess. Has only played one complete game, played just 6 totally ineffective mins ea half first game back and melted down afterward. Tonight she's out for personal reasons. After the last game Rhyne Howard brought up in postgame how much she thinks of Rickea and how she couldn't imagine "going thru what she's going thru right now." Sounds like it could be personal tho she's obvious frustrated w how her season has started.

Fortunately I think help is on the way for LVs in the W w Coop, Z, Ruby, Barker

Damn y’all. Naplessa Collier, by far the leagues best player, out with a knee problem.

The Fever have lost both Syd Colton and Sophie to straight to the locker room injuries during their game tonight.. Fever in danger of giving Connecticut their first win.

I hate that she's hurt as Phee is one of my 2 favorite players to watch, but "by far the best player" is a bold thing to say when we just had a unanimous MVP and it wasn't her

“I get that your whole personality is caught up in stuff like this, so you don’t care about spreading misinformation,” she rebuffed. “1) the foul call made on her had nothing to do with Caitlin Clark. It was because she fouled Natasha Howard. 2) She clearly says “trash” and “f***ing WACK CALL.”

Exactly and thank you. Jemele Hill was responding to "conservative firebrand Riley Gaines" who lip read an audio-less video clip to spark this latest round of culture wars BS.

Aja did some work last night!

Sad to see how poor the Sparks are right now. It is now a long WNBA season so maybe they can find their groove once (and if) they have everyone back from injuries and whatever is going on with Rickea.
