Wow @KB5252 ...You da man! Outta breath just reading your workload. Stay warm & take a NAP, brother. We are getting the freezing rain now. I cut and split two ricks of wood. Put 20 bales of hay in the barn.
Today I built a temporary 8x12 shelter to relocate some goats from under pine trees. Did prep around the house to be prepared.
It looks like we are expecting a large dry spell in southern middle Tennessee. I won't complain. I'm tired and sore as hell. But if rather be tired and sore than sorry.
Stay safe, warm and dry everyone.
I was so tired, was sleeping good after a few beers last night until I woke to the sound of a pop and saw a flash in the distance through the window. Been without power since about 4 am. Had to move some more goats this morning when trees started threatening their area. Was able to move then to a horse stall for the time being.Wow @KB5252 ...You da man! You cannot beat a warm wood fire on a cold and snowy winter day.We are getting the freezing rain now. I cut and split two ricks of wood. Put 20 bales of hay in the barn.

I love mine. All year I get to cut deadwood around the property. Then it keeps us warm in the winter. I have a huge pile of wood cut this fall that will be my exercise this spring.Absolutely. I grew up on coal and wood, dad swapped to straight wood when I was in high-school. They still have it, no gas or electric heat, just a wood stove.
