Hopefully without the vampires.I went into Home Depot and asked the rentals folks if they had any returned generators since a lot of people are getting their power back on. The associate said he had 1, so I took it. Now I’m fueling up two little generators, hoping to get the house warmer tonight. Waking up every 3 hours to refuel, but at least I get to stay at home and watch basketball. One generator for the heat. The other for the refrigerator, internet, and one other device (currently the tv).
My neighborhood of about 1500 is fairly deserted. I haven’t seen anyone since this morning. But like I told my wife, it’s like camping for me. Every now and then I think I’m living the movie “I Am Legend”.
The last big snow we had felt like 30 Days of Night lol
