Probably didn't get a Trey Smith under Kiffin or Dooley. DID under Butch. And we're 10th in the NATION currently. :cray:

When we DON'T land a Tee Higgins, Butch messed up...when we DO land a Ty Chandler and Trey Smith, "probably would've come here anyway". At least there's consistency. :w00t:

11th in the current glorified 24/7 composite you seem to like so well. That's bolstered due to having 25 commitments. Never mind that 8 teams in front of us have less commits.

1 - 5*
4 - 4*
20 - 3*

That's getting it done boys.

Not what I meant, but make sure you run with it. Trey Smith is the only thing you got to defend him with. I'll give you Trey Chandler. Thing is, he can't coach up anyone. Gary Pinkel is not in Knoxville. His excellent recruiting hid the majority of the deficiencies in this staff. What are they going to do in 2 years when they bring in two piss poor recruiting classes? be 5-7 instead of 8-4?

Yeah... Only one five star...wrist slitting stuff there. :) And cost myself that one spot with the consensus 247 instead of picking and choosing to suit. At least it's already NSD and everything is already set. :wink2:

I can see the value in giving up and subscribing to others narratives. Lived too long and seen too many success stories borne out of bumps in the road tho...if you'll excuse me. :gone:

I'm sure it'll improve drastically. After all, it is supposed to pick up steam and be fine after we win the East and get to Atlanta......oh s**t wait.

You talking about next year? We didn't win the East this year. But we're still ahead of Florida in recruiting, soooo? :)

by the way, it's funny you mention Tee. I happen to know that family quite well. If our head coach would hire a WR coach worth his salt, we may have seen him in orange. I am not about to get into that convo, though.

I'm not gonna lie...I am excited about this kid. He can flat out play!...I just watched his highlight film and he is smart and absolutely fearless...I think we got us a gem!

I didn't compare him to anybody and why you wouldn't be excited after watching his highlights is beyond me...I guess some people will just be miserable no matter who we get.
