Good grief. Come on, people. It's HARDER to recruit to Navy! The guy didn't forget how to recruit. He's had a much tougher sell at Navy than anyone at Tennessee ever dreamed about having. He's obviously not recruiting the same type of player to Navy. We got it. But that doesn't mean he "forgot" or "can't" recruit.
I'm not saying he's a good recruiter or not, but much of this is nonsense. The only legitimate argument is the establishment of relationships with HS coaches, which you have to do whenever you start recruiting a new area.
If he's the hire, we'll find out how good of a recruiter he is. But what if he's hired as a position coach? He'll still have to recruit then. Still like that hire?
Buddy Green is not an exciting hire, all because he's a total unknown to the SEC. The important word is "unknown".
