Why does Peyton not like Tee?

It was obvious Peyton was blocking Tee from even getting an interview from us. I had a guy tell me several years ago that Peyton did not like Tee and then I hear Bassilio say that they've not liked each other since college. So that begs the question:

1) Is Peyton jealous?
2) Did Tee bang his wife?
3) Or does Peyton have no issue with Tee but just didn't think he was not qualified?

some GUY told you??? well that's a great source
as about as good as every poster on here

So when you look up who won the national championship in 1998, what does it say? Tee Martin? Or does it say Tennessee Volunteers?

If you want to attribute a single person's name to beating UF in 1998, then saying anyone else than Al Wilson is beyond dumb.

I think the point you're missing is everyone was talking about Tee and Peyton. Excuse ALL of us for not being technical! Tee was the QB out of those 2 when we beat Florida. Holy S##t dude! Really?

Peyton falling in line with the Hoodlams is not good for his VOL legacy. His legacy at Indy far surpasses Tennessee. I always thought Peyton and supporters were intensely jealous of Tee being on a National Title team. My best years as a VOL fan had to be Tee years. Peyton supporters will quickly belittle Tee for his luck being on a defensive juggernaut team that they say won the title. That’s the gospel from someone that lived in that era. Bring Tee home.

Just stop with this. It does absolutely no good to push the Peyton verses Tee agenda.

If made to choose between Peyton's continued support of UT and Tee - I would choose Peyton, hands down. He has been active and supported the university from the day he left until now. He has been at the games. He has established a scholarship. He has donated time and money. What has Tee done?? Leave Peyton alone.

Not fair to play the “What has Tee done?” Card. He did not have a successful NFL career making millions of dollars. And he also has been a coach at various D1 institutions since 2009. What is he supposed to do, show up to Neyland on an off week while he’s coaching at New Mexico/Kentucky/USC? That’s dumb.

Well I for one love both those guys and cheers them both on while they were here.

However I keep in mind Tee had a chance to coach here and passed. I still think he's great and will be on board if he's hired but I don't think Peyton or UT owes him amything

Tee accomplished something Peyton could never do and he will never forgive him for it. Tee is about to eclipse Manning in Vol lore when he leads us to a national championship soon. The Mannings put on a good front but behind closed doors they are some nasty sons of *****es.

Show me a winner who is squeaky clean, and ill show you a con artist. If he does have beef he needs to squash it though, we don't need a modern day Fulmer/Majors fued.

Not to take away from what Peyton does and gives, because it is great. But Tee has to work as a coach and doesn't have the kind of money Peyton does. Also, he is coaching his team the same time we play. So it is not possible for him to be around and give the $$$ like Peyton. Life has been very good to Peyton. Others have more struggles. JMO, but thought I would take up for Tee just a bit.
