I was the only one screaming Butch Jones is the wrong coach in 2012.

You guys told me to shut up and didn't know what I was talking about when I started a thread to stop the hiring.

I'm telling you now. Where the Tennessee job ranks in openings. Miles or Peterson is the best options

But if Tennessee can't get Miles or Peterson. Of what Tennessee can get Schiano would be the best coach Tennessee could hire.

Can't do a 4th small school hire.

Interviewed at Wisconsin, PSU, and USC, not selected. Not sure about Oregon. Reportedly turned down a couple of offers this past off season...Probably Purdue and USF.

1.) that you believe you were the only one upset about CBJ hiring shows you have trouble with reading comprehension
2.) that you believe a thread could have "stopped" the hiring shows you are delusional
3.) that you think Schiano would be a good choice shows you have poor judgement

No tried to inform the fanbase in 2012 on the behind the curtain issues with Butch and try and rally the fanbase against it.

But Peyton Manning wanted Butch Jones at TENNESSEE so he must be good it's Peyton manning.

Peyton Manning will never criticize a hire publicly. Again this isn't difficult.

Were supposed to be announcing a new coach tomorrow or Monday so whomever it is already hired. Maybe after the games today we'll get a leak of information.

Petersen has never had a losing season... And only has 3 of less than 11 wins. He is .821 life time..... And has gotten Washington back on track since he took over 4 years ago. Leach is .607 lifetime and has had just 1 season of over 9 wins. Over 15 years his teams have finished 12th once...... Never higher...... And in the top 20 4 times out of 15 seasons.

Leach is a good coach but not near the coach Petersen is.

I haven't seen one piece of evidence that Peterson would ever even consider leaving to coach us, until then, please stick to any coach that has said to express genuine interest...

Not saying I want this guy hired but there are a lot of pricks coaching. As a matter of fact they're a lot of ass' here.

Where is any news, facts, or anything that says leach wants to come to Tennessee.

Petersen is a top 5 coach. He got an extension and raise this year....... He now makes top 20 money......and he now has his buyout lowered from 2.5 to 1.5. Petersen has spoken twice about the lack of media exposure at Washington and the PAC. Per many sources Petersen is at least a candidate and per some Tennessee has at least talked to Petersen or his people.....and some has stated that they reached out to Tennessee.

Sure nothing hard...... But what do you have for Leach?

I'm watching fl vs FL state.

They are predicting clawson or cutcliff. Good Lord, is this how the rest of the country sees us

1707, Schiano is at the bottom of everyone's list. Well, almost everyone.

There's still smoke around Mullen. I think he's a good coach, but we'll probably end up overpaying if we land him.

Here's my updated wish list:
1- Petersen
2- Frost/Mullen
3- ^^
4- Campbell
5- Fuente/Norvell

I think all are probably solid hires, some just a little riskier than others.

Schiano, leach & Mullen there..... way to over achieve

And under achieve by only putting 1 of them in yours
