I 100% disagree with that assessment. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm in for Gruden but I'm also logical enough to know it probably won't be him. However, if you're telling me a majority of the fanbase, both crazies and sane ones, will not be upset with a Schiano hire, you're gravely mistaken. Guy is not a proven winner, sucked in the NFL, and is tied to Sandusky-regardless of if he had anything to do with it or not, his name is still tied into that investigation. No way Currie looks into the eyes of Vol fans and claims integrity matters, then goes out and hires a guy with ties to Sandusky.

You realize the CRAZIES on here are the only people in the country putting any stock into the Sandusky report with Schiano.....

Some of you are some sick mentality ill people to keep using abused kids as leverage in an argument, when no other school in the country values the report.

I feel bad for those who keep throwing this up as some sort of fact about Schiano. It's sickening

Kelly has agreed to terms with UCLA to become their next HC per ESPN.
Nebraska fired Riley so now that opening is official. (Frost)
Tennessee and Florida both may end up with plan B coaches.

First off, I work with kids for a living, so I can assure you I'm never going to utilize any type of abused child as an upper hand in an argument. Second, if you read my post, I clearly said has his name TIED to the investigation, I never once said it had credence. I was clearly trying to say his name has been tarnished because of that, my apologies if it wasn't clear that was my intentions. However, I will say that sworn testimony AND reputable news sources have stated he knew something was amiss. Now, I'm not going to argue whether that's valid or not. But if our HC, even if it were Gruden or Manning, had his name tied to a sexual child predator in any fashion, yea I don't want him.

He wanted to wait. USC, Michigan, & Oregon all reached out to try and hire him.

Waiting on right fit. He is good friends with Saban.
Getting the signs he wants to HC again now, and bet he wants to go against his buddy Saban.

Beyond the Sandusky report...take lt completely out of the equation and you have a guy that

- had trouble with scouts at Rutgers because he limited their access
- universally hated by players and coaches at Tampa because he was belligerent. Numerous articles confirming this so if you’re going to say Saban was hated in nfl please post examples
- fired after only two years which is unheard of in nfl for a first time coach. Lost 12 of last13 games.
- has done very average as a Dc at osu
- no one has hired the guy despite all the openings.

So usc Michigan and Oregon offers him a job and instead he goes to Ohio st to be D.C.? Is that what you are saying. ?
