Where is Nico likely to land?

Folks on the UNC boards are creaming their pants at the thought of Nico coming to Chapel Hill and think Belichick will "rein him in" (maybe he will, but I think that father is too much of an egomaniacal lunatic to be shut down by anyone).

Funny, they sound a lot like we did when Nico first committed.

Unless he had a deal in place already.

Of course his poor handling of his exit might change that too
I doubt that I have any place lined up that is where they really want to be. I see somebody like Texas tech. Now that everybody sees the circus that goes along with him, a lot of programs would be willing to just walk away knowing that they can recruit someone who can do what he does.
Ultimately, he's taking a step back. He's going to end up at a program with an inferior talent around him relative to us. That's going to make it even more difficult for him to look stellar. He's going to end up looking like a middle of the road quarterback. He's going to struggle trying to climb out of the cellar.

Maybe someone would be willing to catch me up. Does anyone know Nico's prospects for getting the same NIL much less more?

Seems like he may have burned the wrong bridges.
I'll be shocked if any team wants to give him more than what he was getting here with how the situation unfolded.

Makes absolutely no sense what his family/agent did. They have no leverage with anything at this point. He now has to go to a new team, learn a new offense, and hope it all works out. Where he could have just stayed here, hoped for a solid season and then go on to the NFL. Just dumb all the way around on their part.

What I've read so far, unfortunately no links, is that he will find it a challenge to get back to where he was.

No chance Nico learns Belichick’s offensive scheme in 3 months

UNC doesn't know the first thing about football, so it tracks.

I suggest he go to some Christian College that'll teach him to respect and honor his teamates, coaches, and mentors. Then, take a Business Admin class about honoring signed contracts. Nico's been painted by a tainted brush. He drastically needs to work on his character as its gone downhill. He certainly not a VFL!

“A return home to Southern California could be in order. UCLA director of player personnel Stacey Ford coached at Warren High School in Downey, Calif., when Nico, a Long Beach, Calif., native, starred there.”

- I’ll give you 3 guesses and the first two don’t count

It is time to have a bit of levity in this situation. I say Nico finds a scholarship at the National Championship laden Pepperdine University in Malibu.

San Diego State or perhaps Fresno State, but putting his skill set into a Power 4 Conference will produce no different result that what was experienced at Tennessee in the rigorous conference schedule.

Tulane , Texas tech , Syracuse or Tulane …Nico’s choices

Hahaha that’s so great … less money unless TT ponies up and much worse team ina crap conference
