Where is Nico likely to land?

In addition to what roster needs, wants, and feels confident they can assimilate him into their team's trust relationships...

There remains the question of what NIL capable business will want their name associated with the Iamaleavas?

Gonna have to be a mighty big law firm...
Agree. It has become clear it has been all about the green from the start. We never got his best because green was more important than Orange. If he wasn't committed to the BO with the NIL deal here, what makes anyone think they will get better effort with theirs?

FWIW, I have a friend very well connected to another SEC team and he was attending a QB camp. While there, a guy tells him our best QB was our backup.

Some sports caster stated the B10 schools. Cold weather environment. Cracked helmet. Not enough meat on them bones to sustain heat.

"In Heupel We Trust" should be the next, big-selling T-shirt.

FWIW, I have heard the same thing from numerous sources.

Got my money on Kennesaw State or Augustana. Got it from good sources at both places. Fight's on!!

This kid honestly may be used as an example by everyone ago not do this to protect programs in the future.

Everyone all schools pass this will show players moving forward not to pull this crap.

I think there are some closed doors talks like this right now with coaches and conference heads.

So, someone correct me here if I'm wrong, but UNC has backed away as has Tulane. Oregon and USC both said No bueno, right? UCLA has been quiet, but they don't have a bunch of money. How does UCLA not have money???? Texas Tech was mentioned, are they still flirting or are they out? Right about now, Nico is giving Poppa Nic the ole "side eye" that says wtf have you done here???

I feel like UCLA is still the most likely candidate. They’re very desperate for….. anything, but they’re also pretty broke. Once his price drops down substantially I fully expect them to pull the trigger.

I think it is just down to UCLA and since no one else wants him they have no reason to pay a lot of money. Nico is definitely going to get a massive pay cut. Know your worth people.

Wasn't Nico's brother committed to UCLA before signing with the pigs?

I have thought for days that UCLA is where he will end up. They have Jack all to surround him though. Gonna be a looooonnnnngggggg season at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA has money. Tons of it. They (and their boosters) just don't spend it on football. I can't really blame them at this point. They keep falling upward just by being in LA. No need to spend big $ to actually be good.

They will end up paying Nico around $1.5 million.

If I was Nico, I would be rather peeved about getting a huge pay cut (plus paying Cali taxes) plus spending 50% of my playing time on my back in the cold? No thanks pops.

Everyone is trying to get him on a bargain bin price.

In addition to the high asking price, I think a lot of schools don’t want to be the team to break ranks and sign him to a large NIL deal. If a school pays him $1 mil then they have not broken ranks since they are paying less than what he was getting at UT
