He seems to try a lot harder to have relationships with people in the southern U.S.
No there doesnt seem to be more evidence for random chance. To our knowledge, Earth is the only planet in our solar system that can support carbon based life. Its in the perfect spot in relation to the sun. Any closer or farther and we couldnt survive. Earth has an atmosphere that protects us from solar radiation and space debris.
All that happened by random chance? Thats absurd.
My personal opinion is this. I do not understand the reasoning behind what God is doing or has done. I dont think our brains are capable of understanding that. To try and use earthly concepts such as reason and logic to God is simply ridiculous.
The sin that will ultimately put sinners in hell, is the wicked sin of unbelief. You can be forgiven of all the others.but to reject God's gift of salvation for you will ultimately put you in hell.
Still not sure why you think that was a false dichotomy...
I didn't say you had to pick one or the other. I was appealing to the implication he made that the truth needs to make sense.
I don't know, but there seems to be better evidence for "random chance."
Does it make sense that God sent his son, who is also himself, to die as a human being, to somehow atone for the crimes of two people (made from mud and a rib), who were tricked by a talking snake, eating a magic apple?
An absurd notion or arguement from fundamentalism isn't evidence of random chance nor is there better evidence for random chance.
They are both terrible theories.
So, the mere unbelief of a metaphysical concept is worse than being a serial murderer, serial rapist, or child predator?
It's funny that despite people mouthing off such lunacy without understanding the gravity of what they are truly saying, it seems to me that, in actuality, the religious person, like the irreligious person, is way more outraged, incensed, and horrified at the latter than the former.
I wonder why that is.
I said all those sins can be forgiven, but to die without receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior will end in eternal punishment in the lake of fire. or at least that is what I was referring to.
Jn 14:6 Jesus said,' I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come unto the Father except he come by me.' Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven!
It really doesn't matter what anyone, myself included thinks about it, that's what God said about it!
If the others can be forgiven, it would be worse, no?

I am unaware of any Christian theology that posits such a belief. If someone is one of those you mentioned, you are likely going to hell.
I think you are stretching the belief that anyone can be forgiven for past transgressions and holding up that extreme as the norm.
