I also have a relative / neighbor that works on the Sabbath and is a homosexual. Should I kill him twice (as authorized in Leviticus) or will a single killing suffice?
This is why you cant be taken serious.. you would rather mock than have a conversation about something that everyone (most) in here are engaging in.
Fraildick move...
He fears anything he doesnt understand. But Septic is good people.
Being a Christian is not about religion, it's about a relationship.
One of the first things I would encourage a non-believer to investigate is the distinction between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant (Jewish Law, atonement for sin, the resurrection of Jesus). These two distinct topics are oft misunderstood and misrepresented, and are used to drive a contradictory narrative. The Bible has not a single contradiction.
God bless you all.
I'm curious about what you think I dont understand. I was indoctrinated as a child and attended a small west Tennessee Southern Baptist Convention church for about 16 years, complete with years of vacation bible school, Sunday school, Wednesday potlucks, the whole shooting match.
I fully understand.

This leads me to believe that the death penalty is appropriate for those crimes provided a judge of Israel is there for the conviction and act.

Take the famous story of the woman caught in adulterous action brought before Yeshua. As a teacher he was not a judge even though the crowd asked him to be. He could have pointed it out but instead used the law to condemn them all.
And yes the mob didnt get to deside who to stone. There were judges and trials. Just like now we have a book of laws but Ron Mexico doesnt get to pull speeders over and write tickets
Read Rev21:8 kjv
All sin carries the death penalty for mankind, but Jesus Christ tasted death for all men if they would simply receive it by faith and trust what he did on the cross to be sufficient for their sins.
God made it so simple that even a child could understand.
No there doesnt seem to be more evidence for random chance. To our knowledge, Earth is the only planet in our solar system that can support carbon based life. Its in the perfect spot in relation to the sun. Any closer or farther and we couldnt survive. Earth has an atmosphere that protects us from solar radiation and space debris. All that happened by random chance? Thats absurd.
My personal opinion is this. I do not understand the reasoning behind what God is doing or has done. I dont think our brains are capable of understanding that. To try and use earthly concepts such as reason and logic to God is simply ridiculous.
Personally, I have seen many miracles that prove the existence of God. I dont need any other proof than that.
Originally? Sht like this.
If you reject the law/Torah then you reject and dont know Messiah.
Thats just taking Him at His word and not my opinion.
In Mathew 7:21-23 Messiah describes the time of judgment when many Christians are cast out. These are people who thought they were in good shape with the Lord. Why are they cast out? They are lawless and He doesnt know them.
That should scare the Hell (literally) out of every Christian that spouts judgment at others. You really should focus on yourself and your path before G-d. Encourage others to seek G-d and let them find Him. But please stop telling them theyre going to Hell if they dont believe exactly as you do.
Because judging by Mathew 7:21-23 a lot of Christians are going to be right there in Hell with them.
