Who's living through Tennessee football? Is that an attempt to demean me personally as a lower caste citizen compared to another simply because I watch, root and enjoy my States team? I would suggest that any of us who post to message boards like this aren't any different. Much like Colt, sports makes us all equal, whether there snobbish among us wish to accept it or not. You are all here doing the same thing, brothers (and sisters) in arms. So let's not segregate ourselves here in this between the haves/have-nots, life/lifeless, even the intelligent/not so much. Let us all not dissuade another person or opinion, only his/her assumption of facts. Discuss opinions and share them, perhaps some will change when given new light, or perspective. For those convinced against their will are of the same opinion still. Happy veterans day, I will not say whether I am or am not one. A true veteran isn't there for any glory, only his/her own selflessness. To those who have perished or have lost relatives, I salute you. For those who have or are serving, I thank you. For those who haven't, remember, your ability to be free to choose is from another, not yourself. As each person's choice or actions may be popular, or not. Agreed with or no. Understood or unable. It is a freedom we have here to express without punishment, not repercussions (unless breaking a law). For those who wish to protest this day, that is your right, just do not forget where that right came from and who earned it for you. For those who wish to celebrate it, enjoy, be happy and reflect.
Thank you to the Academy for my Oscar moment. Cheers fellas.
