What's in the Senate health care bill?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LADIES AND GENTLEMAN WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!

The party you despise is in charge and they must take responsibility....The party you support is in charge and THINGS CHANGE!!!!!~

Sort of like the argument I've seen saying "No one will give Donald a chance!" Even though the same people vowed to make Obama a one term president before he took the oath of office. It is just different though, apparently, since it is 2017 and not 2009.

That's pretty clever. The GOP has promised repeal and replace for 7 years. Trump himself campaigned on it and said if he won we'd all get better care for a fraction of the cost now.

He wins. The GOP fails to deliver on its defining goal.

Trump's solution is to elect more of them. He's mentally ill.

It's not democrats it's mean snowflakes....Ya know things change

McDad said he had my back in another thread. I'm holding him to it.

But in between our crying spells and general looting/burning bras, we are apparently some mean, uncooperative bastards.

Everyone forgets we learned from the best how to obstruct.

You signed an affidavit....

My lawyers are so going to whip that ass.....

Just because you dress the Guatemalans in suits doesn't mean they're attorneys. We've talked about this before.

And? Trump said it would be simple, beautiful, and some other nonsense. Pushing six months, and every attempt has failed thanks to Republicans bailing. What does that tell you?

You still lose messing with him. Been your best bet to ignore his comment.

More retro-Trump brilliance... Keeping in mind, of course, that the Republicans now have full control of both the House and the Senate.

This is a Trump tweet from September 26th, 2012:

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Obama's complaints about Republicans stopping his agenda are BS since he had full control for two years. He can never take responsibility.

This is a Trump tweet from today:

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump - 13h

With only a very small majority, the Republicans in the House & Senate need more victories next year since Dems totally obstruct, no votes!

Affordable, equitable healthcare. The ACA was flawed from the start. Obama sold out to capture Blue Dog Dems. And now Trump is having the same problem with his own party. I don't see another path that is a fix to the healthcare system without moving to single payer.

I agree that single payer is our only option at this point since our elected officials are to spineless to do anything else. What I disagree with is that it's our best option or that it will be equitable. It will be far from equitable and there will be lawyers making millions in the lawsuits that will be filed.

BHO and the democrats rammed the ACA down the throats of Americans with no votes made on behalf of the Republicans.....the plan is an unsustainable pile of garbage.... because R's take no action to correct iit fix it..... it's their fault..... true brilliance

I, and most every colleague I know, would be terribly disheartened if this is the route we take.

Perhaps I'm reading you incorrectly but, yes, it is absolutely the fault of the R's for "no actions to correct or fix it." They've had YEARS to come up with a solution, there are conservative think tanks all over D.C. spending millions on getting conservatives elected - no one thought about this?

"It" in many cases is what many, if not all conservative legislators ran on as a huge part of their election platform - to do exactly that. My congressman Francis Rooney did, I suspect many of yours did as well.

I don't think any rational American with a modicum of intellectual honesty can believe that the failure to repeal and/or replace will be 'owned' by the Dem's when Washington is being run by Republican's.

Their fault for not fixing it.... yes I get that..... but the ACA being a complete POS is in no shape, form or fashion their fault. They appear unwilling or unable to clean up the Dems mess.

Single payer is coming regardless. Not soon but it could be within five years if trump doesn't become President except in name only. His approval ratings are falling 1-2% per month. He won with a minority of votes anyway. If this trend continues he'll drag congress down with him. If congressional republicans were smart they would start to try to reign him in and if that doesn't work just abandon him and try to save their majority. Trump is a one termer anyway. He won't run again and may not finish this term. They have no reason to be loyal to a man doing such harm to his party.
