Click bait. All the players showed up to practice. Not all gave 100% effort.https://atozsportsnashville.com/report-tennessee-vols-players-no-showed-practice-last-two-weeks/
I was saying to family after the game that it looked like the team quit and was packing it in, and that I wouldn’t be surprised to see 5-10 guys leave the program after the season (which is fine with me at this point).
And then I saw this...
True. Our D was burned more by our offense all year than the other teams. 3 and out over and overBecause the game was suddenly in our qb's hands and he IS a nonfactor. Shurmer is so much better. Our guy cannot make things happen. You never want the game in his hands. Never, he is not that kind of guy.
To this teams fight after Ky? It's one thing to get beat by a better team. It's something else to lay down and play dead.
Your stupid, Butch’s recruiting classes are why. We just lost 3 in a row to candyIt's obvious that the team has quit on Pruitt. They don't GAF. We are no better off right now than we were before Butch was fired. Maybe a little worse because Butch probably would've had a slightly better recruiting class.
This staff has been in place since last January and:
--Offensive line is just as bad as they were this time last year. Missed assignments, missed blocks, no effort
--Linebackers are just as bad as they were this time last year. Missed assignments, bad angles, poor tackling, lost in pass coverage.
--Safeties are still lost and non existent with the exception of a few targeting penalties
--Corners are all freshmen and are a little better than last year's group
--WRs still can't get off the line, can't get any separation, and still drop too many passes (#84; why does he get to play)
--There is still no pass rusher on the team
--QB play is just as erratic and inconsistent as it was last year.
--Team still gives very little effort and don't appear to be any stronger than they were last year.
You realize they are learning new schemes and it's a younger o line than last year right? This staff has been in place since last January and:

Are you suggesting the current head coach hasn’t played a part in the current situation for the team?
