Uh, he's working. Llloonngg hours. Do u really think he is taking time off? You obviously don't know these guys. D1 coaches just don't take time off. I guarantee he logs 80 hrs a week on average or more.

Hey Volunteer, don't you agree that CDD needs to follow the Bruce Pearl PR model and not the Saban plan? Saban came to AL with a Natl Championship under his belt, he could afford to be quiet. CDD may not have that luxury or he could lose the fan base.

I'm a fan. No matter what coach says I'll watch every game and wait 'til next years recruiting class to pass judgment. If he goes 5-7 next year and still pulls in a top 10 recruiting class, then I'll be CDD's biggest fan!

I do want them to play like a well coached team, but 6-6 or so doesn't mean he did a bad job. Our lines are going to blow.

Can he recruit if he doesn't show progress on the field? I'm not so sure... but if he does, I'm all good. Saban had a phenomenal recruiting class his first year and he was only 7-6.

I know this might take a little heat, but I personally like the way Kiffin got out there and promoted Tennessee football. I wish Dooley would do some of the same, but, you know, sans the insulting and degradation of every coach in the SEC.

Yeah, remember that saban was bad the first year and pulled a good class. One year I think you can do that, and we should be a lot better by 2011.

That idiot Blimp Hubbs (Chris Low) started this nonsense. Do you people not realize he's been critical of the Volnation since Phil Fulamanure got canned? Fulamanure was his one and only source inside the program to get any scoop. Kiffin cut him off and Dooley cut him off. What major story has he broke since Phil...ZERO!

Well, would it make you feel better if Coach Dooley went on TV and said that he believes Urban Meyer is cheating by faking medical problems so recruits will feel sorry for him and promise to sign with Florida. :dance2:

You know everyone here is wondering what dooley is doing no interviews laying low .I bet the compition is doing the same thing wondering what kind of team he is putting together. and i do believe that may just give the vols an advantage over them if others dont know whats comeing how they be prepared for it sometimes silence is golden :good!::good!:

I just think all us Vol fans would like to get to know him a little better. It would not take much of his time to go on several sport talk radio shows.
