What happened to Dooley?

For some reason, some of you think what it is normal for a HC to be shotting his mouth of every week. I know this is a bit different than last year, yeah we have already had 14 secondary violations, and we haven't accused other coaches of cheating, but most top notch programs do their talking on the field. Ohio State, not a top notch program in my opinion (most would say it is) hardly ever hits the news with their coach. Kithead was an ego-maniac and needed to hear someone calling his name out loud, because I'm sure he didn't get Layla very loud, which is why we were always on the news. I like the new way much better ... navy seal stealth style.

well it would be nice to hear a little from CDD or some of the new coaches,which I don't think that will be allowed,but he needs to do something to give the fans a little info about what is going on,it doesn't have to be a huge statement or anything,just something along the lines of why this guy was hired,what UT is hoping to be like in the future,because the fans want to know and they are the ones paying for tickets

Talking to the media is probably the last thing on his long list of things to do. I know it would be last on my list.

Just in case he doesn't, here's "what's going on"...

- CDD is very, very busy installing his system, and getting his coaching staff in sync with it...
- He's also very, very busy getting a conditioning program...practice regimen...playbook...and daily / weekly / monthly routine installed...
- Learning his roster. Finding the playmakers. Then finding a way to get them on the field, and in the game...
- Spring practice is just around the corner, so...
- And very, very busy sorting out the 2011 recruiting class...
- Still very, very busy scouting the SEC, and UT's 2010 opponents...
- Gotta get the family moved...when he gets time...
- And keep MH and the boosters happy...
- Quality time with the kids, and maybe take the Mrs. out to dinner once a week or so...
- And the dog has crapped all over the new backyard, so...

Y'know what? Screw the presser. I'll gladly trade "weekly updates" for 8...or 7...or hell, 6 wins. This is not about "pressers"...or even this year...this is about the long-term return to dominance of UT football.

Don't tell me about it...show me.

Tell me about it. Tired of taints whining on here! He taint tellyn us nuffin. He needs to whip some a$& is what he needs to do and gets some W's! He's gonna do it or he isn't we'll know soon enough! Nothing crazy but he better get 5 wins minimum.
