My grandson and I went to a local burger establishment that has ass kicking burgers and atmosphere to match. Had a great time but don't know who raised the cows or what said cows were munching on during their time on earth (and really don't give a crap).

Do you know how hard it is for me sometimes to keep my mouth (fingers) shut in this thread, to keep from coming across as an arsehole?:pinch:

By the way, FWIW....I agree with your post!

I catch your drift but sometimes after a few too many PBRs I lose the ability to shut my mouth (or keys) in the name of discretion. :pardon:

It's funny.

If you "catch my drift" on this.

I know of at least 3 restaurants in my area that have been voted "best Grouper sandwich" in the past 3 years. Each one of those places used PERCH!!!!!!!!

That is no joke!

I'm calling "dumbass or collusion" on the voting group!!

Ribs on the Q. Roasted red taters prepared by the wife. Corn on the cob picked today and I eat it raw. Finished with 2 mayfield ice cream sammiches.

And of course...Coke flavored Crown.

Could this be considered the "Hambone Experiment"

:)

Garlic Chai Hummus with Pita Bread and Broccoli Crowns dusted with olive oil washed down with Greek beer. Then Sushi and Sake later. Boubon Barrel Stout in between.

Risking that you will say, "Bite Me".......

knowing where my food comes from *is* important to me.

I shop local, I shop farmers markets. I grow my own fruits & veggies. Of course, within reason. All my pineapple comes from somewhere else...not Connecticut. <lol>

The is a difference between the food you get at you chain supermarket and the food a "farmer" produces.

Your mileage may vary. :)

Is it local to Florida?

Mainly on the Atlantic coast, but some have made their way into the Gulf. I have four boats that unload at my dock and I consider all the guy's friends. One of them caught an 8 pounder and saved it for me.

Their diet consists mainly of crab and shrimp, like the Angler (Monkfish), but the meat is more "flakey".

NY Strip medrare, taters, corn, and an old vine zin based blend that is killer.

Carrot cake for dessert
