Just beef tips from the store. It simmers for so long everything ends up tender. I used a spice blend from Penzeys and just followed the directions.Ahhhhh! I don’t like lamb either, so thank you for being the pioneer! What kind of beef did you use, did you use the same amount as if you had used lamb, and otherwise did you just follow a traditional recipe?
