What did you have for dinner II?

Been cutting and splitting wood today so ordered take out Chinese from a place in town 25 minutes from where I live. It was nice and cold by the time I got home. Wasn't good at all.

I got pizza, and my Mexican buddy at work brought fajitas. Set me on fire, but good!
 
Sandwich of pastrami seasoned roast beef, spinach & arugula with a schmere of coarse mustard on multigrain Italian bread
 
How do you 'pastrami season" roast beef?
Do you have a recipe or buying from deli, etc.?
Basically season/ cure a top round or sirloin (usually used for roast beef) like u would corned beef and pastrami then smoke it. That's the main diff between corned beef and pastrami, corned beef is boiled or steamed after curing and pastrami is smoked.
Edit to add brisket is the cut used for corned beef and pastrami.
