We won so it’s not an “excuse” but REFS.

Replace the refs with AI. In all sports. It's only a matter of time anyway.
So we want to replace humans who won’t be held accountable for their errors with computers that won’t be held accountable for their errors?

I’d bet my house that if we replace refs with AI, fans will still complain about officiating, vis-a-vis calibration, software updates, etc. etc. instead of school affiliation and salary.

Heupel on last nights officiating crew…

“When it’s a ten to one penalty differential, you’re changing the way the game is played, too, so I guess we’ve got to play a lot smarter,” Heupel said.

“Yeah, I can’t speak to the explanation that I got. Our fans can watch it and judge for themselves what they thought.”

I’m glad he said that. They certainly aren’t trying to hide it anymore. Too much money involved.

This is needed going into Bama. Hopefully UTAD will make a stink about it too...not as much about last nights game, but to try and set narrative for TSIO.

Gotta say that Banks and his defense were much more problematic than the refs in this one. Instead of looking for external causes for our issues, perhaps we should look within? I'd start with Banks and the defensive staff and players along with the man that assembled this coaching staff.

The defense definitely struggled at times BUT :

They forced 3 fumbles

They had 5 or 6 sacks

The 1st 4 possessions for Arkansas in the 2nd half were:

Turnover on 4th down
Punt
Forced fumble recovered by VOLS
Punt

They took over the game in the 2nd half and played well enough to win this game easily if not for 10 penalties on UT and only 1 freaking penalty on Arkansas the ENTIRE FREAKING GAME IN NEYLAND.

This was the WORST attempted jack move by an official crew I have EVER seen in person and the crew should be suspended. Period.

Average dumbass fans, know little to nothing about the game, want high scoring games, so this is what you get. Not unlike the average dumbass race car fans who watch to see the "big wreck"...

The Auburn Georgia game was even worse last night.

The call on the goal line, the BS targeting call with Stockton , Kirby clearly calling a timeout and ************ his way out of it.

Not to mention several BS pass interference calls, or no calls.

Auburn was screwed

Something has to be done. I’m sick of it. absolutely sucking any entertainment out of the sport anymore. No consistency, one sided called games, no accountability, no fines, no punishments, no answers. Either they’re complete bafoons and are horrible at their job or they’re corrupt and do whatever they feel like doing. It’s a complete embarrassment with all the money that’s made by this conference we can’t get decent officiating. I understand it’s a job that’s impossible to be perfect at, but I’m literally just asking for a c+ job. It’s an f every damn week somewhere, complete clown show and has been for years. When is enough enough?

We played Saben coached teams for a decade and half and this was still somehow the most one sided called game I’ve ever seen as a fan. Make it make sense.
Unusually don't complain about the refs even though the SEC has the worst officials in CFB.

That said, the ones at our game yesterday called the game egregiously lopsided against us.

Whenever it takes until 6 minutes left in the 3Q for the other team to get their first penalty, that’s a huge problem. You can’t tell me a team can go nearly 3/4 of a game without committing a single penalty, whenever you could throw a flag for holding every play if you wanted to.

I’m so shocked that you’re complaining. Shocked!

It's all about covering the spreads now. It's pretty obvious in the NFL but there is so much money bet on college now. I remember the GA/OSU natty game. Right before the game, so much money came in on OSU to cover it literally moved the line with one huge bet. Guess what? OSU lost but they covered

If AI was programmed to call a perfect game, there would be flags every play. Box scores would have nothing but penalty numbers.

They refs were all time bad. How was a penalty not called when an Arky player threw a punch right in front of the referee. They held, jumping in the neutral zone causing our player to react and called a motion penalty on our offensive tackle. We were called for 10 penalties, they had one.

It's across the league. SEC refs are the worst. Auburn seems to especially get hosed on horrible calls.
Auburn is getting skull F@!k by the league officials against any top brands in the league why I wonder? Vols also get this treatment nit as bad but close Vols offense is just good enough to overcome it. All anyone is asking is to just call the game fair and even .

you know its bad when they calling hands to the face every quarter, but at least we aren't getting hosed like auburn on a weekly basis lmao

If you want to see the total incompetence or corruption watch a replay of the Georgia at Auburn game last night.
