Don’t put the cart before the horse. Florida always brings their best against us every year. The year that they lost to Georgia State or whatever with two of their lineman blocking each other….they still beat us.

I'm confident with heupels play calling for the most part. Outside of the injuries, I'm very concerned about our ability to contain Richardson and our special teams. UF is gonna get at least 1 punt block. Just have to get that fixed.

I'm seeing that we are anywhere from a 4.5 to 7 point favorite. Will be intereting to see where the official line is. I'm thinking on paper we should be heavy favorites. We are at home, our offense is averaging over 50 points a game, and Florida's QB has come down to earth the last two games. The only thing really going against us is the black cloud that seems to hover over us when we play Florida. Otherwise I see us as more of a 10-14 point favorite.

Florida shouldn't be able to keep up with us offensively with their run heavy offense. Also, its their first away game. So not sure how they will bounce back from adversity away from the swamp. They've been able to lean on their home environment in these close games theyve been in.

As usual, there are a ton of negative Vol fans on the board. Why don't y'all root for Candy? UT may not win. But, I feel good about the game for the first time in more than five years. You do realize that UF's D gave up almost 300 yards on the ground to USF. Right? If UT can't run very well on UF this year and get a W at home, UT will struggle to win 7 games this year. I think UT win's by at least two TDs! GO VOLS!!!

The past has nothing to do with the game next Saturday. Tennessee just needs to come out and play a good ball game. If both sides of the ball bring their best effort we will win! Time to get er done! Just go out and play hard and smart. Here’s to our best game yet this coming Saturday! Go get the Victory Tennessee!!!!GBO!!!!

My younger brother plays for USF. Unfortunately he was the intended target when UF took an INT back for 6. However, I was locked into this game. It’s safe to say, Ventrell Miller is the heart and soul of the UF defense. Not sure if he will be back for this game or not. But they were gashed on the ground by Battie (RB similar to Jaylen Wright) and Bohannon (QB). Both had over 100 yards rushing. USF’s offensive line has been absolutely horrific since Jeff Scott took over and they handled UF’s front most of the night. We HAVE to be able to run the ball and I think we’ll be able to. Also if they try to play that 400 lb Mack truck at nose tackle, he’ll be sucking wind half way through the first quarter.

On another note, Richardson simply cannot throw the ball down field with accuracy. If we play Cover 3 all night, I’m climbing up into the box and throwing Tim Banks into the river. Cutting off all the underneath routes AR likes to throw and sending pressure will bode well for us. If we can contain their running game, we’ll be in nice shape. USF’s DL has been horrid this season so far and they gave up a lot on the ground to UF. If it wasn’t for that, the Gators would be walking into Neyland with 2 losses.

Shut off the ground game. Lock down short/intermediate routes. UF won’t have a chance. AR gets flustered pretty quick because he knows he’s in a slump. Heck, USF flustered him the entire game in their own stadium.

Just like 2012 Jeff Dryskel and his qb draw plays, 2011 Rainey and his jet sweeps, garbage Treon Harris in 2014, phantom catches, back up qbs, coaches who are garbage have beat us when we were better, 95 up big at half time, 06 the holding call, 99 knowing our snap count, list goes on... B.v.s...or just the vols mental prowess. Its the one game a yr I never guarantee a win
