Tonight there were some positives. If we can play our best football for an entire game we may be on to something. I think Maurer did himself well tonight

No, i am honest enough to know what type of program Pruitt is having to rebuild, i am all vol just don't wear the orange colored glasses, we are not on same level with Ga. Or Bama yet, but i see improvement and potential for the future.
I am a realist, we gonna take our lumps this year, but we are gonna win some games and be a better program by seasons end.

No..We didn't get the RIGHT coach at all...And this one won't be around very long at this rate and if he is then everybody associated should be fired...It's ridiculous to see what this historic proud program has become..We are a laughing stock.

I don't know how you go 5-7 and start the next season 1-3. Then, lose by 29 to go 1-4 and think "we've got the right coach".

There were some good things in this game. I don't think there is any doubt about that.

However, they lost at home by 29.

Clemson is 9-1 in their last 10 games vs SEC teams and are still walking all over Alabama. It's ridiculous to suggest UGA is a better team then they are at this point.

Tennessee had 2 RB’s with over 5 yards per carry......yet one only got 9 carries and the other only got 7........go figure.

Well, I guess we should settle on the criteria for determining that a coach is "the right coach" after only 17 games...and in a complete rebuild of a program.
I wonder what UNC thought about Mack Brown after he went 1-10 in his first 2 seasons as their HC all those years ago.

I can't defend a 1-4 record that should be 3-2 right now for sure.

But CJP has this team playing much better FB when compared to our first game--exponentially better!

We lost 41-0 in 2017 at home to UGA...38-12 last year....and we were in this game at the end of the first half tonight in spite of the HUGE gap in talent and depth between us and UGA.

NO--I'm certainly not happy with a 29 point loss at home....but we're playing a true FR QB and 6 other FR on this team.
And their last score was because our true FR QB didn't recognize a corner blitz was coming...

Finishing 6-6 is still possible, but not likely. I think we can win 4 of the last 7 if our offense plays like it did for most of the 1st half tonight.

I would definitely feel better if we finish 6-6 and land a top 10--15 recruiting class.

Clemson is 2-2 against Bama....and has beaten USCe 4 times, Auburn 2 times, and Texas a&m 2 times....
And UGA beat Auburn 28-7 in the SEC championship game in 2017....and barely lost to a Bama team that whooped Clem that year 24-6 in the playoff.
By the way--Clemson lost to unranked Syracuse and Pittsburgh since 2016....

I'm not arguing that Clemson is not a good team---and I'm not saying that Clemson couldn't beat UGA....
But you seem to be saying that Clemson would beat UGA "handily" just because of their success against the SEC in their last 10 games--that's just STUPID THINKING!

People got excited by the first 25 minutes, or so. Then UGA did what they were supposed to do and covered the spread. It all comes down to how people feel about Pruitt at this point.

Pruitt very well may not be the right guy. 6-11 with a laundry list of blowouts doesn't inspire confidence.

With that said, he HAS to be given time to flip this roster. Not only for the opportunity that he might succeed. But at least for developing said roster for a replacement.

UT has ran it's course of firing HCs as quickly. We are at a point where we risk eliminating any competent HC prospect who cares about his career.

You really think we just became a laughing stock? This has been going on since Kiffin. And frankly fulmers last year. Have your opinion all you want but have a coach that is trying to get us out of the black hole and his kids are playing hard. We have like 65 scholarship players dude, It’s not going to be an easy few years regardless of who coaches.
