We got our kicker

Max always had a look on his face of dread, felt sorry for him, he had a baby face looked like a HS freshman. He hit a very high % of his kicks, missed very few had a great year stat wise on books but all of misses were crucial kicks. Wish Max the best next year but maybe when we play Arky he can go into melt down mode, then he will be a super star in K-Town..
I remember seeing his face the whole time during that last setup because the cameraman kept showing him and his face said it all. I was almost wishing CJH had just went for it because I was thinking no way Max is making this kick, he's about to crap himself on the sideline

You seem to forget Heupel botching that whole sequence and icing our own kicker. Our defense also gave up about 113 points that GA game. We just weren’t good, kicking included, coaching included, defense included, sometimes offense.
But you shouldn't mention facts on here. These folks don't like that 😊. But you are correct 💯

That was the face of a boy thinking “I hope I don’t get exposed for point shaving!”

Hopefully the new guy will be better. However I watched the highlights from the Clemson-UL game and the first XP he tried shanked off the goal post...

You never know how kickers respond to pressure situations until you see them go through it. Nobody probably knew much about the Ole Miss kicker until he performed on the big stage in the playoffs. Heck, if he had any eligibility left, I would have taken a look at the OU kicker, and his Daisy Dukes shorty shorts! Kickers are unique individuals that operate in their own little world. Hope this guy from Louisville works out for our beloved UT Vols!

I wouldn't go that far but if he had hit his kicks we would have won 3 games that we ended up losing lol

This is where I’m at. There were plenty of mistakes to go around, but we beat Georgia and Oklahoma at the very least. Still, should’ve been more aggressive against Georgia in the third quarter and Max wouldn’t have even been called on to hit the game winner.

Remember when fulmer was calling the drive after the TO? That bad before half wasn’t it? Max didn’t win us any games, but he sure didn’t lose them either.

In any case the number one reason that we lost that game was because we settled for a field goal after the strip sack fumble recovery on the Georgia 30 in the third quarter. You score there, that’s the dagger.

Can you please start a catch all thread please that includes all the new transfer commits and the guys they are hypothetically replacing?

Would make it much easier to follow for some of us.

If one exist I didn’t see it.

Thanks!
