Watch,, it!! Health, exercise etc.

It's usually between 80-100 after my recovery days Sunday and Wednesday. 40-60 on the other days.

What's your stress look like? Thats what kills my BB.

Yeah, the 10.14 is the update. You're good.

The battery on these things are phenomenal. During a test I went 17 days with only 1 30 minute use of GPS and still had 32% left before charging it.

I use a face that has 2 different screens. Default main screen I use no colors. Second screen one 1 color. But I use the brightest setting and alot of info fields including seconds.

29 Avg Stress Level

I have a cutesty watch face. And the only knock at all I have on this watch, is it dims the screen in low light. And if there is a way to turn that off, I haven't found it.

Just reached out to the Garmin community and the Vivoactive doest have an autodim function. Thats forked up. It's possible its could get an update to correct that, but with Garmin it could be next week or 2 years when the 7 comes out.

That would be a deal breaker for me. I mean...well, you know what I mean. Lol.

If its still returnable I'd return it and get the Venu3. Pretty much the same watch but a few more bells and whistles. If not contact Garmin and see if they'll let you trade or something.

Or if it doesn't bother you like it would me, just deal with it like I deal with the vibration of mine not being strong enough. Lol. Thats my only complaint on mine, besides being a little heavy.

It's definitely inconvenient. But at this point I can live with it. I love everything else about the watch.

Let's hope it gets an update that fixes it sooner rather than later.

They didn't say why, just that it doesn't have the feature. Weird because the 5 does. Several people that have the 5 said they didn't upgrade to the 6 mainly because of that and issues with battery. You're lucky yours isnt having that issue. Me thinks it was a major brain fart.

Did you get your 965 yet? I ask because my experience with ordering from them twice has been frustrating.

I order the new HRM. They said I'd have it by Saturday, but as of today it hasn't even shipped. And delivery is 3-6 days. Lol. No big deal its just the point.

It made it to Columbia SC Tuesday night and instead of going eastbound with UPS it went westbound. So instead of getting it yesterday, it’s supposedly on the delivery truck now

Only causes I'm aware of from experience is you didn't sleep with the watch on your wrist. The watch was powered OFF. Caused by a beta update. Had an activity still open. Other than that I haven't a clue.

Other option: I was just getting home from work when I posted that. Last night was, umm, something

I've yet to figure out how to get mine to track a walk. It must not consider walking a legit workout cause I had to manually add it. And there is something with the GPS I haven't figured out yet. My other watch started a workout after it detected constant moving longer than 5 minutes. 😂

Mine only counts it as an activity if you tell it. I remember way back when the Fitbit would figure out an activity was happening. Not the case with my Garmin

Also I’ll have to start managing my sleep time for better accuracy on the watch. Looks like I’ll be going to an overnight shift 4 nights a week while the Middle East middle easts.

@vollygirl

Its just beta right now but it will be available to you probably around the first of September.

  • Adds an evening report to summarize your day before your sleep time.
  • Adds the calculator app.
  • Supports creating custom focus modes.
  • Adds support for the Rucking activity.
  • Garmin Connect Mobile translations updated to v2.70

Nice!

Mine tells me what kind of day I've had, easy or high stress, and if I should do a certain activity before it's time to go to sleep. Sometimes it seems accurate, sometimes not. lol

And it always, always, always tells me I am not getting enough sleep.

Took me for what seems like a decade to get a consistent sleep regime honed, but my 7 day average sleep score is between 80-83 right now and has been for several months.

The hardest thing for me to be perfectly consistent with is the most important one. Getting to bed before 10:00. 9:30 is perfect but almost impossible on certain nights. Getting at least 6.5 hours and no more than 8 seems to be my sweet spot. My 7 day average right now is 7:03.

Anyway, blah blah blah.

Kidding. I'm just jealous. Second night in a row of poor sleep.

Funny. It was nothing but truth, until I posted that. Lol. Had a 61 that night, then a 74, 76, 78 and 74. Lol. My 7 day average today is 76.
Doesn’t deserve a like. Sorry Behr. My numbers aren’t awful the last seven days, but I don’t feel like they’re accurate.

I worked 5 out of 6 days 12 hour overnights last week due to the Middle East stuff. Ended last Friday. Slept like a rock Friday and Saturday night and way over too. 10.5 hours both nights. And it’s felt like crap since. I wake up a lot throughout the night and struggle getting back to sleep. But my watch makes me think I slept decently (in the 70s). I don’t get it. The awake times typically don’t even show up on the timeline.

Well, it kinda deserved a like, I mean he jinxed himself, and there's not a laughing emoji to use for a reaction. So more of an acknowledgement really. You're right. Not like worthy. Sorry Behr.

I knew it was an acknowledgement like, I give alot of those out mainly to let them know I saw it.

I don't always listen to my watch. If I feel good and do more than suggested my stress level gets really high and it shows up on my sleep score. Thats what's happening now.

Only 2 things that piss me off on a regular basis, Stress and Low Aerobic.
