Watch,, it!! Health, exercise etc.

After reflection this morning, I drank some chamomile herbal tea last night right before bed and listened to ocean waves. Temp was 68.1° when I went to bed. New pillow. First $80 pillow I've ever owned. Lol. And 12 milligrams of melatonin.

It's important because my stress was 11 which is the lowest it's been in months, I only had 1 awake longer than 5 minutes and it was exactly 5. But for the first time ever it showed 0 restless moments. I find that hard to believe, but nothing else seems outta wack.

Just hit me after reading this, it's better to do my running in the morning instead of later in the afternoon like I've been doing. Now that it's getting light earlier it'll be easier to do.

You tried taking ZMA before bed? Nugenix PM for the win. Sleep like a baby whenever I take it, and wake up refreshed...as a side effect of early morning wood tho. Also if you haven't tried grounding, my doc swears by it, I tried it but didn't feel much different. Stuff like this (https://www.amazon.com/JFFSZSD-Grounding-Pattern-Relieve-Inflammation/dp/B0D3FDWQZ5/) there's a bunch of diff ones I don't remember which I tried....but again I dunno how much it helps but suppoesedly studies support it. I just know ZMA, and I sleep like a vampire. I do beleive in a good pillow though natural Latex pillows are pricey but have always worked best.

What are you wearing these days as far as shoes for running/walking?

I'm in the market for a new pair or 2. Things have changed with me physically and I'm not sure if it's permanent or not. Either way it is what it is right now. I know I'd be safe with the Clifton 9 and I think the Monster will be okay too. But it's possible something else would work or even be better. My dilemma is do I just stick with what I'm pretty certain will work, or try something different?
I hate you…

I’m trying these:

Not really sure why. Just trying something different. I blame you. We’ll see what happens

Wow, 215 grams. Those look nice. I haven't bought any yet. The surfers are 245 grams which i thought was light.

Lightest mild support shoe on the market supposedly. I ran exclusively in brooks 12ish years ago. Then they quit making the model I liked and I never found a brooks replacement

I'm glad I got triggert last week on those shoes. Instead of settling for a stupid color or paying the full price $160, I waited. And looky...

They're 245g and that's just 2 grams more than my lightest Clifton 8.

Glad you’re getting a deal on them, and if you like that color scheme, even better

I don't but I like it better than the others. Still haven't ordered them. Looking at others just to see what's out there. On has a Monster Hyper that's only 210g and has the color scheme of my watch face 😀, But I'm not sure I'm ready to fork out that much on one pair. The worst thing that could happen is I fall in love with them. Lol. The monsters have always been my second favorite to run in and my favorite aesthetically.

@Behr, you had said things had changed. Does said changes affect how the current shoes feel?
Kinda sorta but not really, why do you ask? I mean I'm not shopping for a certain shoe to fit criteria based on my physical issues if that's why you ask. I just want something different and was really looking for something lighter but its not a deal breaker.

I'm looking for plush to max cushioning. Under 300g but really like something under 240. 7mm or less drop. And something that's not boring looking. So far On has it. Hard to find Clifton 8 in my size that's not puke green or just butt ugly, so I'm just looking.

Mainly being indecisive.

Just wondered if it meant you needed to change shoes. I’m just completely anti max cushioning, even though it’s prolly what I need

No, my others are close to being done and I just want some.

I got to have cushioning.

No Data last night but this time I know why. You know for the past week or so I've been restarting my watch before I go to bed? Yeah, at what point of reading that sentence did you know what I done did? Lulz. Smh.

Check it out. I googled "lightest running shoe" and the rows of pictures shows up. I spotted one that didn't seem right but evidently it is cause I just ordered them. Only one size and one color and only had 2 left. Not the color I'd picked but I like it.

I use a cheap "case" and screen protector on my watch to protect from scratches. Last night before church I was moving an extension cord and not paying attention. I pulled a bowl of hot candle wax off the counter onto my arm.

No way I can explain the devastation I felt.

Long story short, the watch was 99.9% protected. Spent less than 5 minutes wiping it down, putting a new screen protector and case back on and good as new.

@volfanbill You still alive? I ordered the Monsters and found kinda the same deal on a pair of Eclipse. Only one color, one size (mine) and 1 pair left $119. Scooped those up and they are my new favorite pair.

I'm alive. Just my version of a Behr walkabout/long vacation. Those look nice. Glad you like them. How did the Monsters do?

I'm ok with my Brooks. they're nothing crazy, but do the job. I think because they're lighter, they're faster than my Cloudflyers, but I think the Cloudflyers feel better long term. I definitely need to add speed drills to my running, so the Brooks will probably be my go to for that.

Haven't gotten the monsters yet, but this is my 4th pair so they just gonna be new and a different color. Love the Eclipse, they're pretty much lighter monsters.

Which Flyers are you wearing now? There's 5? Lol.

I had seen the mock up, didn’t know the 5s were actually out. I still have two pair of 4s in great shape, so it’ll be awhile till I switch to the 5 I guess
