Wanya Morris In the transfer portal

Could just as easily be a sign that Wanya thinks he's going to stay and has lost hope of the program improving with Pruitt. In fact... that might be more likely. If a new coach is brought in then he will likely recruit Morris to stay. Morris' decision to leave is with Pruitt as his coach.
I thought most of the players love Pruitt, think it’s definitely more likely he thinks/knows Pruitt is done.

Again. We’re talking about a situation that could come down to an arbitrator or jury letting the UT AD walk away from 12 LARGE. If the very expensive counsel tells you to make no public comment, you make no public comment. Or I could be completely dreaming and they’re all just locked in a room and and arguing and we’re doomed.
I think that’s the problem. The powers that be have no vision of the future and are short sighted. They are concerned with $12M at the present but can’t see that they could possibly lose exponentially more over the next 4-5 years.
I hope you’re right but I have little faith now and am going with the latter and we are probably doomed.
GBO!!

There’s no reason that a competent coach can’t make a pretty quick impact. Even with only 20 schollys in a class for 2 years. Early playing time is going to be a given and the bowl ban is basically irrelevant. Kids don’t really seem to care about playing in a bowl game these days.

My opinion on CJP doesn't matter but it seems like players leaving because he is...or it's a Coach O situation?

I think the point of the investigation/counsel is to wait the next 2/3 weeks and save the 12 million, thereby firing with cause and saving the next 4-5 years.

If a coach can get a top notch recruiting class, by year 3 that foundation should be set and be competitive if we find the right coach. The longer we keep Pruitt though the farther we fall back

This. This situation isn’t hopeless, but one firing won’t fix it.
