Uh...Constitutional protections of free speech don't entail that people cannot disagree with you on an internet message board. The other poster was disagreeing with you, and your reasons, not trying to throw you in Guantanamo. Whether or not this is America has nothing to do with it.

I do not think that is what he said. Read all of Jimmy Hyams' tweets... He says that it is very frustrating, but he never said he was my going to be back.

Agreed but with hubbs and Vq saying it would be today or tomorrow we will know there is a huge problem if this isn't taken care of by this time tomorrow


If it's not then I am willing to bet he did soemthing after the complaint to bring real fear to the "victim". That would be only explanation for not clearing him now that I can think of

All signs point to him being back. I am sure that there is a process that UT has to go through to get him fully reinstated. Von has done everything he can. Now people just need to be patient.

Why would the lawyer blast the university unless he felt differently???

I see nothing about him not returning in the near future. The lawyer is just amazed (as well all are) thay von isn't back.

Either way... Butch is going to get a lot of questions regarding the situation tomorrow. I hope that he gives an answer as to why the process was lengthy.

Butch's continued silence makes me believe he supports VP, but his hands are tied. If Butch wants nothing to do with VP and knows things we don't that prevents him from allowing him back, why not kick him off and be done rather than continuing to suspend him? I don't think Butch would allow this distraction to linger if he believes Von is a rapist and if he knows Von will never be back. Makes me think CBJ believes VP deserves to be back, but the bureaucrats are holding it up. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there is another reason. I just got off a plane and haven't read the last 10 pages.
