pearson didnt do alot of that either. it was more catch and run. Wasnt going downfield vertically and doing much.
Seriously. I get it. It's important to make sure the investigation is thorough, but what the hell ever happened to the speedy trial clause of the Sixth Amendment.
Why do you think that the call has not been made and simply not made public?
I think the real question is did he actually do anything for most. Next being why it is taking so long to charge him or not
So let me get this straight, Von exposed his gentians to a female student, and she was offended, and reported it to the police. The police opened an investigation which has been open and ongoing for months to determine if the report and allegations made by the compliant are indeed factual.
Are those the facts and circumstances that are accepted as the truth on here? I'm assuming that's the case.
Many on here are upset by the police investigation taking so long or with little or no movement. Why aren't those folks equally upset with Von for his actions? After all, he's the real problem in this scenario not the police or the prosecutor's office.
Have y'all considered that Von isn't coming back and if the allegations made against him are even remotely true, then this isn't the type of player UT wants in its program.
If the allegations are true, I know I don't want him playing football for UT.
Only the police and prosecutor have that information, and maybe Butch Jones if he did his own inquiry before suspending Von from the team.
A high profile case like this could take months to complete, it's not a simple as many would like to make it.
I think many on here forget the simple fact that playing football for UT is a privilege and not a right.
Or he could have just been taking a piss outside.

It's not a big deal him playing hoops. Even if he wasn't suspended he would still probably play. A lot of players play in the offseason. Pig has been there some too. I can't go to TRECS all the time cause I'm a busy guy, but I'm a reliable source and have read VN for years. Just don't post much And id say if I've seen him as much as i have he's been there a lot.I read it wrong about working there but I'll believe deer park at this point. If he has been there playing hoops then I doubt we ever see him play ball agai for UT so thanks for bringing that to light. And he is an idiot if he is banned from campus and still hangs out there. So, once again I'll stick to the side that he hasn't been there. Because I'm selfish and want to see him play for UT if he is innocent of any crime.
People are mad that it's been freaking forever without any word on whether he will face charges. The kid is totally being held hostage. He is unable to move in with his life or career

I wonder what other student athletes are being charged with serious crimes and not suspended??? That isn't good.
Also, does Von still get any stipends or anything involving his scholarship while suspended? I wonder how he can afford day to day expenses during this time.
He is probably referring to Big Charles' DUI
I take his "Time is money tweet" to mean just that. The longer this drags out the more it cost.
As for the other athletes that were not suspended from School I think he is refering to AJ who was allowed to stay in class and graduate.
I certainly think the article refers to AJ being allowed to get his degree and take the walk. But the article uses the word "currently" so the other person has to be Mike Williams and as I posted earlier, in the student directory I checked an hour or so ago...Williams' status is active...meaning he is enrolled and attending classes. Not to down play the seriousness of a DUI charge, but I don't think that is handled the same way.
I think the question both the RTI and Blank articles are trying to pose is: How can someone CHARGED and INDITED be allowed to go to class and someone, like Von Pearson, who is not charged with ANY crime be barred from going to class?
If the allegations are true or even partially true, people should be angry with Von for his actions.
After all if the allegations were completely false Von would be back on the team staring practice tomorrow and going to class next week.
As it stands now he is still under investigation which tells me that there is still something to investigate.
