The first time I heard Steve call in to a radio show was in 1993.....called into Jeff Weinberger and Jack Eaton's Show in Memphis. Recently heard him call into Swain's Show I think it was. He's a legend despite not being the most intelligible or articulate guy in the world.

Yep bout the first time I heard Steve also.. Was in high school.. Womder if he's on VN? I remember Weinburger talking bout Chavis should loop the ends...

A definition of insanity is repeating the same action with the expectation of a different outcome.

Well, I guess I'm guilty as charged. I keep opening this thread expecting to see that VP has been exonerated, charged, sitting in jail or something else specific to the progress of the case. It's just not going to happen until August at the earliest.

Well, Von is not going to be charged on the evidence they have, they are unlikely to find compelling new evidence in a he said-she said case, Von's 3.0 GPA fulfilled academic requirements and coaches and media seem open and positive about his return. So the next update more than likely will be Von showing up for fall camp.

I don't think that was an update from an inside or knowledgeable source with access to the prosecuting attorney's office, but just LA's opinion of what will likely happen. LA will certainly correct me if I'm wrong.

Hubbs posted a brief update on the situation last night on VQ and said nothing has changed... Everyone still expects him to be back and that if/when his name is cleared, he will be welcomed back to the team.

Yes, that was mostly my opinion, based on info publicly released and a law degree that I seldom use. No Deep Throat, guys-- sorry!
