This is probably the wrong place for this, but since this thread is about MLB, I thought I’d mention that Cal Raleigh became the first to 40 HRs in the majors this year. He’s just the 7th catcher to do that all-time.

No, Cal didn’t play for UT, he played for Florida State, but he did grow up in Western NC and is the son of former Vol coach Todd Raleigh.

Cal did attend Knoxville Catholic for a couple years and played ball there. So, some Knoxville roots.
