Perhaps, but I’m hoping we get to see an equal dose of them for Syracuse because as we know, JG and Milton were practice merchants while Dobbs and Hooker were gamers under the lights.Merk ain't giving Joey the starting spot. Very interesting he's been better more than Joey. Maybe the competition has lit a fire under his ass. I love it.
The fact that McCoy and Thornton weren't 100% in 23 & 24 isn't lost on me. In 23 McCoy missed 8 games, Thornton 5. White carried the load.Receivers haven’t been good since 2022 and appear to have gotten worse. We don’t seem to prioritize guys who can catch a football when recruiting receivers.
I hope not. One guy gotta to know he’s the starter and get those 1st reps and go out there and lead. That’s my thinking as well although Joey needs to start showing improvement each day and being more comfortable
Wonder if there’s a chance we play 2 QBs for Syracuse and ETSU
I remember that happening before his breakout year.Do any of these guys do what Hyatt did when it comes to practicing with the ball machine?

Tennessee WRs coach's tactic played role into Jalin Hyatt's production
Jalin Hyatt has been one of the most reliable targets in the country this season.www.saturdaydownsouth.com
I think we got about as much as possible out of Milton and Nico. If we see a lack of development with the current crop of QBs, then I will be concerned. So you just won't address our QB issues with Milton and Nico because you dislike Pope?
Somebody can be held accountable for the deficiencies in every position room. Folks often cite Martinez as struggling with DBs or Elarbee as struggling with the OL or Pope struggling with WRs.
Some of those criticisms are warranted given our performance.
So, what about the QB room over the last 2 years? Who is the problem there?
Disgusting? It's a game played by humans, there will always be mistakes. You see dropped passes every game in the NFL. Part of the game. Relax.WRs dropping catchable passes is disgusting and unacceptable. A coach who accepts that happening is unacceptable. I am not saying a coach should eat a players face off whenever that happens. But he should require that player or players to work to the maximum allowed by rules. If they are not willing to work on their own until they stop dropping passes, then find players who will work hard and catch the football. No player will be perfect, but those WRs are worth less than zero to the team if they do not consistently catch the catchable passes thrown to them.
