Don't think it's a "university" account, so they probably don't have any control over it.

Everyone wants a big name! Debord wasn't a big name and he has done well. I keep hearing the stupid MAC coach comments. If a lot of teams could trade coaches with us they would. I was watching college football news today and the Alabama D guys were asked who was the toughest they faced? Their response was Tenn and that physical line. Everyone hated on Debord last year. Why does every hire HAVE to be a big name? Why are all the fans obsessed with demanding money they don't control? The big names can be big busts!

Nobody was calling for someones head on a platter this year and Jones was under no pressure or expectation to fire any of his assistants especially one he had worked with for so long. Therefore if he felt like there needed to be a change I'm sure he saw something going on that one else was let in on

need to hire the best DC we can, a proven DC in major conference. Can't just hire on basis of VFL. If Jones didn't play for UT people would laugh at this prospect. I love the guy and I am sentimental, but we have to let go some times. Need a proven DC at a big time program.
