@VolNExile

I ain’t did nuthin expect apologize to a guy for joking with him when he called me out. @Behr and I have been friends for a long time and I see no reason that would ever change. I’m assuming Behr and I are good unless he tells me otherwise. I respect him enough (too many reasons to mention) to understand and fix whatever wrongs that may still exist between us.
The other dude who lost his mind is beyond dead to me. It’s like he never existed and I’ll never read or respond to anything from him ever again. Having said all that I now plan to operate as if yesterday never happened. Which honestly looks very similar in my posting style.

I cannot pout. At least not effectively. Alas, I am deficient in this critical Zoner attribute. I will never truly be one of the gang. Likely, some are relieved to witness my realization.

I have known Jews since childhood, embracing some as true friends. One of my beloved friends of more than 40 years who resides in greater Nashville is a member of the Temple, there. Still, I admit that I do not always follow your train of thought, Slice.

Most of our trains of thought seem often to follow tracks like this, whatever our background (I seem to derail a lot):

@VolNExile you know anything about Banner Elk? We'll be spending some time there in a few weeks.
Sorry, completely ignorant.

It has dawned on us how ridiculously clueless we are about local attractions. If we ever get our fancy-pants Subaru on order from the factory (look at all these gadgets to protect the world from You, the Ancient Driver!), we are going to go cruising locally.

Let us know how it went!

Not Exie, but go visit Valle Crucis and Mast General Store. (It’s the original).

I’m a fan of waterfalls, so I love Elk River Falls.

Grandfather Mountain is the centerpiece attraction, but it’s always too busy for my taste. There’s plenty of other fun hikes up there and lots of shopping opportunities

Ok, and @vollygirl, I have to give my northeast Tennessee home some love here: Watauga Lake is absolutely stunning and gorgeous. You can go eat at Shirley’s (home cooking, soul food restaurant) if you’re willing to go that far out of the way. Watauga Lake is my favorite place on this earth.
