Vaccine or not?

LOL. Your government is proud you are complying
The real LOL is that you seriously think not putting on a mask and not taking a vaccine makes you strong and brave and you literally assign a political motive to every move everybody makes. I seriously can't think of a single time I've put on a mask where I even slightly thought about the government.

It's crazy you all have spent a year with this mask and believe that those of us who won't wear one think we believe that makes us brave or strong. Not wearing one is just me living as normal but I certainly wouldn't object to your right to wear one. My stance has always been don't want to wear one then don't, you feel you need to wear one then do.

Probably he feels strong and brave because he's had C19. He survived it just fine and is now naturally immune. He dealt with this the old fashioned way

**** the government. I comply with the property owners rules.
That's fine, luckily here only one place still requires it so I just don't give them my business. So I won't comply with their rules either I will just take my business where the management has common sense

It's really not a partisan issue. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks post vaccine for me, and, yeah - I think a lot of it is complete BS - but I still wear a mask in certain situations mainly just to make people comfortable. On Saturday in fact, I was at the 3rd round of the PGA event at Hilton Head and there's a local mask ordinance which meant I had to wear a mask at all times on a friggin golf course. It was dumb as hell, but I did it.
That’s pretty much what I do. I don’t wear one outside unless I’m on private property that requires it. Like you did. I don’t wear one in a business unless they mandate or request it. I’ll even do it if they just request it. But no signage no mask. I don’t see a reason here to be a drama Queen on this. I’ve had both shots but still in my two week back side window. But I’ll keep doing what I’ve posted above. I think it’s completely stupid on masks and don’t think they do a damn thing especially in my case now but I’m not gonna fight a company over it.

It had more to do with property owner rights assertion than the government. In fact that’s all it boils down to.

And that’s your right to do so. It’s all really that simple.

I won't wear a mask into the county building even though they have signs up, turns out other than bitching there's nothing they can do. If a private business has even a "masks appreciated" sign up I'll wear one.

Funny, I cant help but think of government everytime my 4th grader puts on one to go to school.

So did I. Covid would likely cause me a lot of problems, therefore I took measures to avoid getting it. Glad it has worked out for both of us.

Unfortunately it's not just a government thing. I've got a 7th grader and a college Sophomore doing the same thing everyday in private schools.

It was primarily inspired by government.

The current situation is still inspired by them and still holds prevalence because of essentially the cowardice of deference.

The biggest concern for me is the normalization of mask wearing with kids. We're going to have a whole generation of germaphobes.

You are correct. The pockets of resistance on this have been to small.

Blindly going along is making a statement as well.

It's already happening. Friends have a middle schooler and he doesn't feel comfortable going anywhere without his mask.
