UT still 3rd in AP

Just so you know. I have apparently turned some Michigan fans against us as one declared we are now his most hated team and fans. I kid you not. It's fun watching them go apesh!t after I pointed out SOS to them.
They aren't impressed by our Gonzaga win + OT Kansas loss, but we are supposed to be impressed by their wins over UNC, Purdue and Villanova? That's rich. Michigan has played well, but let's not act like their resume is unimpeachable. UNC is the only 3-loss team in the top 25, Villanova hasn't climbed back into the rankings and Purdue is 7-5 now. Oh, excuse me - they also eked out a 2-point win over mighty Northwestern.

Those guys are extra salty.

There really is no room for any of us to complain about Michigan while we are ranked ahead of Kansas. No reason for us to be ranked ahead of a one loss team that beat us

Except, of course, that they lost to #18 a few days ago and we’ve beaten a #1 team since then.

If neither Kansas nor Tennessee lost another game for the rest of the season after they played each other, this argument would hold up, but that’s not the situation.

Disagree

Both teams have one lost

Head to head should always decide the tiebreaker in such a case

I think it's safe to assume that most people (AP voters and coaches) disagree with you. I do too. Kansas was punished accordingly for losing.

This guy has us at 9 and Michigan at 4.
Jesse Newell at College Poll Tracker

Before you give Newell a piece of your mind, he’s not so much a KU homer as an analytics guy. It puts him completely out of sync with the rest of the poll, though. Why ask his opinion if he’s going to use an analytics engine to make his choices? We already have Kenyon and NET.
