I don't see us making a BCS game..

Ainge is coming off knee surgery, our top 3 recievers are gone, we're installing a new offense, and we can't run the ball.

Not exactly the recipe for success..

Last year we almost had a better season than people give us credit for. We were worn down by the time we played Arkansas, and Penn State was a throw away game. We lost to the eventual natl. champs by 1 point and lost to LSU with a freshman QB by one play on 4th down. I think 50/50 shot we get into a BCS game this year, if we can actually win those close games.

Tennessee was +2 in close games last year, so they DID win those close games.

We're not installing a new offense - how hard is it to understand that saying "We're experimenting with some no huddle" does NOT mean "We're running a no huddle offense now."

But it's weird - Fellows has been a starter and he's back. Mapu has been a starter and he's back.

Every depth chart I saw last year, Mapu wasn't the starter. Fellows before he got injured, was solidly playing behind Inky Johnson. I guess the fact they started as freshmen a couple of years ago, is more relevant then the fact they were back-ups last year?

there are way too many good sec teams out there for us to win enough games to either get an at large bid or an automatic bid...i definately don't see us winning the SEC....and our schedule is extremely tough...not this year boys

UT is experimenting with using 2 TE's more.
1 TE is a H Back lining up as either a fullback or a 2nd TE.
IMO, the offense will be somewhat different from last years.
Mainly because there is more depth at TE then WR.

The AP article I read said installing...which I actually think is exciting.

Even if it's not fullly utilized, my other points are enough of a concern, for me to think we'll have trouble making a BCS game.

I wasn't dissing what you were saying, so back the eff off.

The entire point of listing returning starters is to chart experience, yes?

JT Mapu was a starter before his mission, so he has experience. Roshaun Fellows started his freshman year and a couple games his sophomore year. Thus, they have starting experience.

The HBack was used very very very much last season.

Any preseason sports mag I've ever read that lists returning starters lists the returning starters from last season. Not players who started 2 yeasr ago and lost the starting postion.
