NIL collectives are not attached to the school. They are strictly for getting players name, image, and likeness deals. It's no different than Mahomes deal with State Farm. State Farm can pay him 1 billion dollars per commercial if they want to and it doesn't affect his earning potential in the NFL at all or affect the Chiefs payroll.
