He didn’t talk smack. His assessment of Hird was spot on. Secondly, he was a smart guy for turning down Butch. Everyone could see that in Butch’s 3rd year. Hell, everyone could Butch was just doing to win some brownie points with Fans who were unsure of him. So yes, Tee made a smart choice to stay the hell away from UT with Butch as coach.

haha...VFL doesn't mean that on this board. It's more like "Vol For Life While you play on Saturdays...until you do something I don't like", but VFL was much shorter.

It's not 'calling it like it is'. It's called being a race baiting uninformed knucklehead that needs to brush up on the university's history. The problem with throwing ish against the wall hoping it will stick, kills all credibility when there really is a situation of racism. Guys like you torpedo your own cause and don't even realize it.

Being right or wrong is irrelevant. A lot of you give too much street cred for guessing something that happens down the road. Generally, this philosophy leads one to be wrong more than they are right. Another reason it was a good move for Tennessee to go another direction in their coaching search.
