Update on Henry T

He is overrated. He looked good playing beside Bituli as a freshman. He will make a highlight play once or twice a game but make 20 bad plays during the same game.
And he still led the team in tackles and was 4th in the SEC for TFLs. I’m not saying he hasn’t had his issues in coverage, but I don’t see an ILB on the team who is better.

Maybe Jay Graham spoke with HT and it soured him on Alabama. It can't hurt that Graham just quit already and while he wasn't HT's position coach, it's certainly possible they talked with each other -- maybe well enough to communicate after he left.

Then why keep stringing Heupel and the rest of the team along? You keep deflecting blame from Henry and it’s BS. The guy can make his own decisions. It’s not Pruitts fault Henry is acting this way.

If he wants to leave for greener pastures then that’s fine. Go. But don’t treat the university that have you a scholarship like the backup plan on prom night. Henry needs to act like an adult and make a decision.
I wish I had all the details that you obviously do. I don't know but I would hope CJH has more info on the situation than you do and if he's okay with it, that's all that matters. Unless you don't trust him.

Article I read seemed to imply he had made a decision. Is it possible he has and you didn't get the memo?

Everyone is cheating man. Alabama is better at keeping it hush hush than anyone, which sickens me.
I do not argue that point. I have no proof either way though the safe assumption is that most major programs have boosters and others funneling cash to players.

Everyone doing it... doesn't excuse doing it. In fact, it is hurting the game. If no one could cheat then you have a level playing field for ALL programs. It would be a contest of who could recruit and develop the right players within the rules rather than who could find the best ways to cheat.

Let's assume "everyone is doing it"... what does that do to the few programs that aren't? They're at a disadvantage for doing the right thing. How about the programs that do not have boosters with the money or interest to pay players? Cheating puts those programs at an extreme disadvantage.

If it were obvious that the officials were letting Bama get away with PI A LOT and UT was getting flagged most of the time... would that be acceptable? It should be a lot less acceptable that programs are getting away with different levels of cheating which provides a MUCH greater advantage than getting away with a few PI's.

Well the others will have to play before we know. HT and Crouch both played at about the same level last year and we know the level that is. 1A9BBE4F-527A-4ED9-B7EC-0F24ED1E0C1D.gif

I hope we can close this chapter soon. If he doesn't want to be here he needs to move on.

They both just need to poop or get off the pot. I am with heup, it is better and wiser to just go with the ones who are here. Dont waste a second investing in guys who aren't sold on staying at the university they have been at for basically 3 years. If you have to sell them after they've experienced it, they don't need to stay anyways.

Read somewhere that Henry was in town to pick up some things and do something for a class. After that, he went back to Cali. He's not going to be on this team. Not sure this will be enough for some. They'll apparently need to see him take the field for his new team before they admit he's really, really, really gone.

Graham’s viewpoint and is reason for leaving Alabama is not a factor with HT.
